Questions and doubts fill my mind,
When will I know the time is right;
I want to retire and build my house,
But, I need you, Lord, to lead with might.

Is this the plan you have for me?
Should I take new steps in life?
Is this the place you want me to be?
I want to help others relieve strife.

You have been good to me all my days,
You walked forever by my side;
When I was scared to follow Your ways,
You made me humble, set aside my pride.

A new day is quickly approaching,
A new life I will once again start;
But I only want to go this way,
If it is pleasing to Your heart.

Life without You would be impossible,
Life without You could never be grand;
So, I'm begging for answers this day, my Lord,
Keep me safely in the palm of Your hand.

If this is the plan You have for me,
Please show me in some way;
Then I will rejoice, sing Your praise,
For You have once again blessed my day.
