 My soul is at ease and filled with peace,
My joy exceeds all bounds:
God has seen my dilemma,
My heart hears His soft sounds.
My life is just as it should be,
My soul has found serenity;
I seek to please my Jesus,
He's helped me find identity.
An hour for devotion and prayer,
Starts my day each morning;
It puts me in touch with my Savior,
He sometimes sends me a warning.
Serenity rules each day,
As I live the life given me;
For I've learned to trust His way,
To follow where He leads.
When I fail as I often do,
God's mercy is available to me;
And when I pray for His forgiveness,
I again find that serenity.
I hope in this world of sin,
You find peace and serenity;
Spend your time with the Lord,
And give your life to the Trinity.
