The Lord has given me an amazing life,
He wants me to spread my wings and soar;
He wants me to have life to the fullest,
And gifts from Him never to ignore.

I'm not delicate like a butterfly,
Over the years, God has made me strong;
If I don't soar with joy in my heart,
I believe that would be all wrong.

There have been rough roads to travel,
Pain and heartache on many a day;
But as I grow in this life He gives,
I've learned to live life His way.

I'm not perfect, I'm still a sinner,
But Jesus loves me to the core;
He grants me grace and lots of gifts,
As He teaches my soul to soar.

Life is a path for getting close to God,
We never know what's in store;
But God will bring good from our lives,
As our souls begin to soar.

Life can be quite a challenge,
It often knocks us to the floor;
But believe in Jesus, our Shepherd and Lord,
And His Holy Spirt will help us soar.
