Spring restores the soul,
The rebirth of the land;
Reminds us of our rebirth,
And how with our God we stand.
Winds blow away the dead leaves,
As Jesus removes sins from us;
Rain regenerates the garden soil,
As the Lord grows us without a fuss.
The rains come pouring down,
The plants' mighty thirst is quenched;
Storms sometimes rage with thunder,
As a show of God's power is clenched.
Easter brings us to our knees,
As we rememberJesus' suffering and pain;
We picture Him hanging on that cross,
All so our salvation He could gain.
Spring definitely restores our souls,
As we remember how He rose from the dead;
He conquered both sin and death,
So we can have life without dread.
