Stepfathers

 stars

Stepfathers, they say, are ugly and mean,
But I'll argue that point with you;
My stepfather is kind and good,
His love for me I'm sure is true.

He may not be the most handsome man,
He may not be a millionaire;
But one thing I can say for sure,
When I need him, he is always there.

He does not drive a cadillac;
A tractor's more his speed;
He milks his cows at morn and night,
In spring he plants his seed.

So here's a tribute to a special man,
The kind you find to be rare;
He asks for nothing in return,
When you ask him for his care.
