Thanks Be to God

 

The trees' gowns are colorful,
In golds, oranges and red;
Colder weather soon approaches,
But we have nothing to dread.

November brings Thanksgiving,
A day to give our thanks to God;
We thank Him for our bounty,
We thank Him for our sod.



Life isn't always easy,
But we thank Him for His care;
We thank Him for His love,
Thank Him for the forgiveness He shares.



We thank God when times are good,
We thank Him when times are bad;
We thank Him when we laugh,
And we thank Him when we are sad.

There is always something to thank Him for,
Every moment of every day;
So rejoice and sing praises to God,
Show appreciation in some way.
