My heart and soul have been touched by love,
I've been held so close by my Lord above;
He gives me peace and calms my fears,
He's by my side through all the years.
When one's heart has been tuched by love,
Especially the love of the One above;
The soul becomes pure and free,
And, a new way of life he'll soon see.
Fear is no longer in one's life,
Even when there's pain and strife;
A calmness grows born of hope,
In darkness one no longer gropes.
Joy bubbles up and overflows,
Forgiveness of others quickly grows;
God's treasured Word is fun to read,
In the soul God planted a seed.
Heart and soul have been touched by love,
By the King in heaven above;
He holds us in the palm of His hand,
Now there's a life that's totally grand.
