Waves of tranquility
Fill my very soul;
For I know in my heart,
God approves of my goal.

Sometimes the path I travel,
No one else will follow;
But the Lord leads where I go,
His promise is not hollow.

He promises me peace,
When I listen to Him;
And waves of tranquility,
No man can ever stem.

He blesses me abundantly,
From troubles He leads me;
He shows me the path to Him,
Even though I stumble continually.

His peace lives in my soul,
My mind worries not;
For Jesus is my savior,
He has sealed my lot.

Waves of tranquility,
Fill my soul and heart;
My savior cares for me,
He has from the start.

Waves of tranquility,
Fill my every thought;
I fret not on the future,
My peace has been bought.
