Tranquil
moments are few and
far between,
But when felt, they
are like heaven unseen.
Tranquil
moments are easier found
When no one else is
hanging around.
Absolute
silence fills my soul
And I no longer pay
the toll.
I
can listen for words
from above,
And feel that emotion
we call love.
The stars in the sky
seem much brighter,
And all my burdens are
so much lighter.
Tranquil moments in
me creep,
When God's will I tend
to seek.
His peace fills me body
and soul,
And I know I'll reach
my goal.
If tranquil moments
I can find
It always tends to renew
my mind.
Thank you, Lord, for
those days,
So I can learn Your
mighty ways.
