Jasmine
Sue, what a gal,
I love her; she is
my pal;
Into a teen she has
grown,
She has fun, seldom
alone.
For her team she loves
to cheer,
For life she holds
little fear;
Messages she likes
to text,
What in life will
come next?
Fashion and boys invade
her dreams,
She's grown up too
fast it seems;
Parties and friends
take up her days,
But I admire her loving
ways.
As she grows and the
world she sees,
I pray she'll always
find time for me;
She's a star when
my days are dark,
She brings joy and
makes her mark.
Jasmine Sue, what
a girl,
She's someone special
in my world;
God loves her I hope
she knows,
And will guide her
steps as she goes.
What a gal this granddaughter
of mine,
She's growing up to
be real fine;
Service to God pray
is her goal,
For Jesus has saved
her beautiful soul.
