The Wrong Love

Why are women oh so weak,
And men so hard and cruel;
Woman is soft and quick to cry,
Man, he is no fool.

He knows she will do his bid,
Regardless of how she feels;
She'll work for him and give her love,
His wounds she always heals.

What of this woman who is kind to all,
For him she does so much;
He cannot see the pain in her eyes,
The desire for his touch.

She goes on day after day,
With a love so very strong;
And then one morning she will wake,
To find the love is wrong.

He wants her at his side no more,
His desire for her is gone;
He will love another woman,
Before the sky breaks dawn.

But she doesn't have to lose the war,
She can stand up tall and fight;
And she will win him back again;
On a warm and glorious night.
