Unfortunately, SHAGGY and FREDDY emerged from the Egg instead. Claiming they were the biggest movie stars going today, Shaggy and Freddy loudly hyped their upcoming movie, due for USA release June 14. Then, they turned their attention toward Mashed Potato, and Shaggy began berating him as Freddy looked on, cackling. At that point, a helicopter landed on the outfield grass of Browns Grounds, and out stepped the real surprise of the evening, Chewbacca himself! Chewie ran to Mashed Potatos aid, chasing away the belligerent Shaggy and stunned Freddy. In classic Mashed Potato fashion, he and Chewbacca spent the next several minutes dancing in the ring, as everybody in attendance showed their pleasure for the spectacle by hooting and flailing their arms wildly.

MAIN EVENT, WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP:
COOLEROY versus THE TERROR
An
extremely hot PWL crowd has been watching an intense match
between their champion, Cooleroy, and the ultimate rival
challenger, The Terror.
The match has ranged from fast and furious flurries of activity,
during one stretch of which both men were wrapped in a small
package and managed to get several two-counts on each other in
just a matter of seconds, it seemed; to long moments in which the
men seemed to retreat to their respective corners to regroup,
replan, and attempt to retake an advantage on the other.
Most impartial observers would say that it seemed that the men
were quite evenly matched. What Cooleroy lacked in strength
against the obviously stronger Terror, he made up in quickness,
which occasionally seemed to take Terror by surprise.
For the past few minutes, however, Terror had been able to mount
a more continual work-down on Cooleroy, and Terror's heavy-handed
tactics are clearly getting the better of the champ's stamina at
this point.
Presently, Terror clamps Cooleroy in a front head-lock. Cooleroy
seems to struggle momentarily, but then decides to save his
strength. Terror grabs Cooleroy's left arm with a flourish, and
looks to the crowd, pleased with his accomplishment.
"Aaah! Graah!," screams a female fan near the runway,
apparently meaning nothing in particular.
Terror looks at the fan momentarily. Cooleroy takes the
opportunity and lifts his right knee into Terror's midsection.
Terror immediately breaks the hold and looks up, only slightly
stunned. Cooleroy is going to have to do a lot better than that,
his look seems to say.
Cooleroy turns and runs to the opposite side of the ring.
Bouncing off the ropes, he runs back toward Terror at full tilt.
He attempts to deliver an elbow to Terror's forehead. Terror
deals with this telegraphed move as he should, and steps out of
the way. Cooleroy is unable to stop his forward momentum and runs
past Terror and headlong into the ringropes.
Cooleroy hits the ropes with his chest and is roughly flung
backward into the ring. He hits the mat on his back and looks up,
somewhat dazed. The crowd reacts to the spot with an electric
"Uh!" They know that a missed opportunity like that at
this stage of the game could cost the champ the match.
As Cooleroy attempts to regroup himself and rise from the mat,
Terror appears over him. Cooleroy looks up momentarily, still
somewhat groggy. Terror greets him with a foot to the forehead.
"Come on, man! He's down on the mat!" screams one fan
from the balcony. Another howls, "Come on, ref, get in there!"
The ruddy-faced white haired ref seems to take no notice. In
fact, he never has seemed very much to be too interested in the
match at all, truth be told. It seems that every few seconds, he
would look up at the big screen, in a somewhat nervous
anticipation.
Terror laughs at the spectacle of kicking a man while he's down.
That's exactly what he's talking about. In fact, it seems such a
good idea that Terror begins to kick Cooleroy again, about the
head and shoulders, in what could pass as a poor man's Garvin
Stomp. The crowd has become infuriated. The ref is clueless.
As Terror surveys the seemingly unconscious champ lying upon the
mat, he knows that the time has come to put an end to this
charade, and an end to the champ's tenure. He looks to the crowd
and holds aloft his hand, giving the entire house crowd and the
folks at home a characteristic gesture.
It's time for the Terror Spike.
Apparently, it's also time for something else. The house lights
immediately go dark, leaving only the ring illuminated by deep
red lighting. The Terror lowers his hand, but does not seemed
phased. He's far too much a veteran to let a few lights cause him
concern.
At that moment, a masked shape appears on the video screen. A
low, sonorous voice fills the auditorium, which has gone nearly
silent. Cooleroy remains lying upon the mat, although he seems to
have become conscious. The ref has become slightly more animated
as he looks to the screen and nods. He appears to be quietly
saying something to himself as he moves to the far end of the
ring. Terror turns and looks at the screen with a mixture of
incredulity and disgust.
Just who does this joker think he is, interrupting the match of
the greatest wrestler in PWL history? He's got a lot of gall,
showing his face around here after what he did to JTG. Sure, JTG
is a broken down wreck, but he was Terror's mentor. And anyone
that Terror allows to be his mentor has to have more class in his
little finger than some dimwit wearing a mask.
(Shape): Hey, Terror. Hey, Terror! Listen here!
Terror stares at the screen.
(Shape): Since you ain't got no heart, maybe you'd like to see...
Oh, forget it, then.
Terror shakes his head in confused disgust. Is this going
somewhere?
Cooleroy has managed to pull himself up from the mat. He
currently stands next to the near ropes and watches the screen
himself.
(Shape): The fact is, Terror, you ain't no tinman. You got heart,
don't you?
The Terror remains confused and disgusted.
(Shape): Yeah. The Leader knows you got heart, sunshine! That's
the whole point.
The Terror looks truly disgusted. He yells something at the
screen, but no mic pics it up.
(Shape): But even so, the Leader didn't care for your threats.
The Leader didn't care for you roughing up a cameraman.
Someone coming through the crowd enters the ring from the far end.
(Shape): And the Leader begs to differ with the propriety of some
of your, shall we say, product.
Terror continues to stare incredulously at the screen he does not
notice a figure standing behind him. The figure is dressed all in
black, with a black mask. On the chest of his black full suit is
a word and four letters in silver: APOCALYPSIS IXXI. The figure
carries a large baton.
(Shape): And so it behooves us to do something about it, brother.
Don't worry, though. We're only thinking of you.
The Terror is far more disgusted than confused. He didn't need
this interruption in his match. Terror gladly gives the shape on
the screen the finger. The house lights come up immediately, and
Terror turns to pick up where he left off.
He is met, instead, with a crack of a baton across the side of
his head. Terror is stunned but not down. The figure in the ring
then begins to attack the stunned Terror with a barrage of rather
vicious closed fists to the head and neck. Terror attempts to
defend himself, but remains somewhat confused from the baton hit.
The shadowy figure then quicly runs behind Terror and places him
in a rather elaborate sleeper hold. Most of the crowd remains
stunned. A very few in the crowd however, suddenly look to the
ring with a new interest. These fans had been followers of
independent wrestling in the past few years. One of them even
quietly says the name that he had heard applied to this
particular hold a few years back. He says it with a dawning
satisfaction. "The Exterminator."
Terror, already groggy from the vicious hits, sinks down to the
mat. He seems completely out. After a few second pass, the figure
releases the hold. Cooleroy and the referee had been passively
watching the entire spectacle.
The figure drags Terror the centre of the ring and presents him
to Cooleroy with a flourish. Cooleroy nods, though he doesn't
really seem as if he knows what's going on here.
The figure turns and exits the ring. He walks up the ramp toward
the exit under the big screen. As he leaves, he looks up the
screen and throws his right hand in the air. He gestures toward
the nodding face of the shape, extending three of his digits. The
figure then disappears into the back.
The shape continues to nod on the screen as Cooleroy slowly
covers the downed Terror. The referee makes the count: one, two,
three!
The crowd erupts only slightly. They're still trying to figure
out what just went on. Only in a few minutes will they really
start to celebrate Cooleroy's victory over the hated Terror.
As the referee hands the belt to Cooleroy, Cooleroy looks up at
the screen. The shape nods one last time, and the screen fades to
black. Cooleroy turns to the referee, and he nearly asks if the
referee knows who that was on the screen.
The referee, however, quickly turns and exits the ring. The
question is left unasked.
As medical technicians come, rather slowly, out to the ring to
check on Terror, Cooleroy looks to the crowd. He raises the
championship belt. The crowd begins to cheer.
COOLEROY pins THE TERROR at 19:08. Cooleroy retains the World heavyweight championship.
