Thanksgiving night, November 27th, 2008
Direct from "The Coliseum" in St. Louis, Missouri.

MAIN EVENT - 10-Man Elimination Tag Team Match
THE PIT - THE TERROR, WILLIS MADDOX, PI, and THE PILLARS OF PAIN (Golem and Quartz) vs.
EXTERMINANS, M. KLEATS, SMOOTH RUDY, TANKA SATCHMO, and RUSSELL BRUTE

The Pit emerged victorious in the 10-Man main event over Exterminans and his cohorts. The Pillars of Pain, Golem and Quartz, were the two survivors of the mtach. Eliminations during the bout occurred thusly:

Golem pinned Tanka Satchmo in 8:39.
Quartz caused Smooth Rudy to submit at 11:33.
Exterminans pinned Pi in 15:53.
Exterminans and The Terror were simultaneously counted out at 22:12.
M. Kleats pinned Willis Maddox at 24:07.
Golem pinned M. Kleats at 24:50.
Quartz pinned Russell Brute at 29:01.

After the match, Terror, Willis, and Pi held Exterminans, Kleats, Satchmo, and Rudy at bay with wooden beams as The Pillars of Pain continued their vicious attack of poor Russell. Finally, an enraged Fat Albert could take it no more and leaped over the railing from his ringside seat. Albert disposed of the two Pillars as The Terror, Willis, and Pi returned to ringside. As the other wrestlers brawled around the ring, The Terror jumped into the ring. As the show ended, The Terror and Fat Albert were locked in a staredown.

For the World's tag team championship
THE SHEEPHERDERS (Cousin Butch and Cousin Bamm-Bamm, champions, with Flagbearer Kronie) wrestled
LUNCH MEAT MUMFORD and PORK CHOP HASH (2008 Puke Cup Tournament Champions) to a double-disqualification in 19:44 as all four competitors and Kronie brawled inside and outside the ring, ignoring referee's orders to cease the hooliganism. The Sheepherders thus retain the World's tag team championship.

Four Corners Match - winner will challenge for World's heavyweight championship at Christmas Goodwill Show
BEN TRAYMOR vs. SCHOOLHOUSE ROCKY vs. KENDO NAGASAKI vs. TOM HORNER
Kendo Nagasaki surprised many in the audience by winning the Four Corners Match, though nobody was terribly shocked to see Tom Horner the victim of the loss. Nagasaki pinned Horner at 20:40 to earn his World's title match at CGS.

Return Match for the North American heavyweight championship
HUMAN TORNADO defated ASHTON BUTCHER by pinfall in 18:09 to win his fourth North American championship.

Tag Team Extravaganza
THE HOLLYWOOD BLONDS (Shaggy Rogers and Freddie Jones) defeated TEETHWOOD SLACK (Dr. Teeth and Sgt. Floyd) by countout in 10:22 when Teethwood Slack lost track of the referee's 20-count as they were elaborately and flamboyantly regrouping on the floor. Teeth and Floyd seemed unbothered by their loss.

For the Missouri State heavyweight championship
EARL "Strangler" LEWIS (champion) pinned THE GRITHER at 21:27 to retain his championship.

The very special Thanksgiving Egg from MASHED POTATO was revealed to be PWL Hall of Famer FAT ALBERT. Albert took a seat at ringside with Mashed Potato and greeted the many fans surrounding him.

One-on-One Heavyweight Excitement
In his PWL debut, BRUTUS MAXIMUS defeated CHARLEY HAWSE with a pin at 8:43 following interference (which went unnoticed by the referee) from Portly Wayne Hangover. Hangover informed us after the match that he is rebuilding his House of Hangover, and with Brutus Maximus, Brian Damage, and Patient Zero (the latter two are now apparently known as "The Out Crowd"), "2009 will most definitely be the Year of the Hangover."

8-Woman Elimination Tag Team Match
Ladies' World's champion PENNY DREADFUL, Ladies' World's tag team champions TRULY TAG TEAM (Really Rosie and Actually Alice), and their partner "Burly" SHIRLEY FURLEY won their elimination tag team contest over the devious foursome of MONSTER EUNICE, HEAVYWEIGHT CAROL, and THE MASKED MABELS. In a clean sweep, all four ladies on the victorious side survived the entire match. Eliminations took place in this order:

Shirley Furley pinned Monster Eunice at 1:01.
Shirley Furley pinned Mabel II at 4:45.
Shirely Furley pinned Masked Mabel I at 6:16.
Penny Dreadful pinned Heavyweight Carol at 11:41.

For the MWF tag team championship
THE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS (Beautiful Biff and Sweet Sully, 8-time World's tag team champions, with R.R. Victor) added a ninth major tag team championship to the resume by defeating defending champions THE DUDLEY BOYZ (Dudley Dawson and Dudley Johnson, with Portly Wayne Hangover) to win their first MWF tag team championship. Following the bout, the defeated Dudleys were beaten further as Hangover turned on his charges with the help of Patient Zero and another strange fellow, later identified as "Brian Damage" by Portly Wayne Hangover.

One-on-One Heavyweight Scramble
WILHELM SCREAM defeated PATIENT ZERO (with Portly Wayne Hangover) via pinfall in 4:46. Hangover, though disgusted, consoled Zero after the bout and helped him back to the locker room area.

Big Time Tag Team Extravaganza
All 888 pounds of THE SCUFFLIN' HILLBILLIES (Moonshine Hillbilly and Hambone) defeated THE CRASH TEST DUMMIES (Vince and Larry, with Portly Wayne Hangover) via submission at 6:55 when Hambone bear-hugged Vince into saying uncle. A disgusted Hangover fired the Dummies from his House of Hangover immediately following the match.

One-on-One Opening Bout Madness
In his PWL debut, LUTHER PENDRAGON defeated OMAR LOBSTER (with Portly Wayne Hangover) via pinfall in 5:16. A disgusted Hangover fired Lobster from his House of Hangover stable immediately following the match.
