2008 Christmas Goodwill Show Results

CHRISTMAS GOODWILL SHOW
Christmas night, December 25th, 2008
Direct from "The Coliseum" in St. Louis, Missouri.

Opening bout: GAMBLERS EPONYMOUS (THREE-CARD MONTE & FIVE-CARD STUD) defeated THE HOLLYWOOD BLONDS (SHAGGY ROGERS & FREDDIE JONES) when Monte pinned Freddie at 9:09. Shaggy and Freddie seemed to have some form of discussion following the match.

Second match: THE SCUFFLIN' HILLBILLIES (MOONSHINE HILLBILLY & HAMBONE) defeated Portly Wayne Hangover's team of BRIAN DAMAGE & PATIENT ZERO by disqualification in 7:44 when Giant Fezzik interfered on Hangover's behalf. It should be noted that while Hangover's men had a slight edge in wrestling ability, the sheer girth of the Hillbillies had Brian and Zero dumbfounded.

Third match: EQUINOX (with Portly Wayne Hangover) pinned CHARLEY HAWSE in 14:33. The presence of Giant Fezzik again played a role, this time to Hangover's advantage. Fortunately for Charley Hawse, Hangover's former charge Brutus Maximus arrived on the scene to even the score following the match's conclusion. Hangover repeated his vow to get back at Maximus for leaving the House of Hangover.

Fourth match, for the World's junior heavyweight championship: FENWICK GRENCHER (champion) defeated TIGER MASK (challenger) by submission in 15:25 to retain his championship.

Fifth match: SCHOOLHOUSE ROCKY, appearing in fine form, pinned "COLONEL" TOM HORNER in 11:16.

Sixth match, for the North American heavyweight championship: HUMAN TORNADO (champion) pinned ASHTON BUTCHER (challenger) in 18:12 to retain the championship.

Seventh match: BEN TRAYMOR pinned WHOLE LOTTA MAN after 15:55 of incredible action.

Eighth match, for the Missouri State heavyweight championship: EARL "STRANGLER" LEWIS pinned "HANDSOME" DIRK MERCURY in 13:29.

Ninth match: FAT ALBERT & M. KLEATS wrestled THE PILLARS OF PAIN (GOLEM & QUARTZ) to a double countout in 16:08 after much outside-the-ring brawling.

Tenth match, for the World's tag team championship: LUNCH MEAT MUMFORD & PORK CHOP HASH won their match, but not the championship, defeating the champions, THE SHEEPHERDERS (COUSIN BUTCH & COUSIN BAMM-BAMM) by disqualification in 12:29 when Flagbearer Kronie clocked Mumford with his flagpole.

Main Event, for the World's heavyweight championship: THE TERROR (champion) pinned KENDO NAGASAKI (challenger, with manager Scunner Campbell) in 21:44. There was incidental brawling outside the ring betwixt The Fat Albert Gang and The Pit; at one point, Kendo Nagasaki was accidentally nudged by Fat Albert himself. Unfortunately for the challenger, that gave The Terror enough of an opening to finish the match off. Needless to say, The Fat Albert Gang now has Scunner's Army to deal with in addition to The Pit.
