PWL News and Information for July 25, 1999.
Thanks to some of the results from the last PWL card, here is the revised
card for this Saturday night's PWL: IN YOUR HEAD 2, live from St. Louis:
-
World heavyweight champion RONALD McDONALD defends his newly won title
against the legend himself, JOE THE GIANT;
-
North American heavyweight champion PLAGUE defends his strap in a Three-Way
Dance, taking on challengers FAT ALBERT and WAFFLE HOUSE. Whomever
gets the win, via pinfall or submission, is declared the champion;
-
World tag team champions STRIKE FORCE are still defending their gold in
a 3WD against THE PILLARS OF PAIN and HAARLEM HEAT;
-
World cruiserweight champion VENOM takes on DUH CHEE in a title match;
-
In yet another 3WD, Women's World champion URSA defends against DARK ANGEL
and ELIZA BLADE;
-
Midgets' World champion CAP'N CRUNCH defends his title against ORKO.
Former World heavyweight champion THE TERROR has been slated for guest
commentary duties, joining KERMIT THE FROG and GUY SMILEY.
Non-championship (undercard) matches will be announced if people request
that we do so. Therefore, we aren't planning on doing so.
As celebrity-guest rock bands are all the rage in other organizations,
we've decided to join in the "fun." At IYH2, get ready for musical
performances by THE ARCHIES. We're sure you can't wait for that.
Other big-time, high-profile guests appearing include:
-
the surviving members of THE LETTER PEOPLE;
-
that Hand on the Hamburger Helper boxes;
-
R5-D4 from the original "Star Wars" movie;
-
noted film director ALAN SMITHEE;
-
and plenty more.
Stay tuned to PWL ONLINE for more news concerning IYH2, and thanks for
checking in.
