PWL News and Information for August 9, 1999.
Now that IN YOUR HEAD 2 is a week behind us, let's move on to the fallout
resulting from the big card.
-
Have the CMI left the PWL? PLAGUE and his crew had been noticeably
silent leading up to IYH, and there has been no word from them in the past
week. Some have wondered if Plague's World title loss to THE TERROR
back in June caused the big man to crack. We'll definitely have more
word on this should the need arise.
-
Speaking of The Terror, he is now focused on the World tag team championship,
and has asked the legend himself, JOE THE GIANT, to be his tag partner
in the quest for the gold. Could the teacher and the student team
up full time for a run at being the top tag team the PWL has seen in quite
some time? JTG has not yet responded to Terror's request, as he usually
lets his actions do the talking. Hopefully, we can get word from
the "Massa" regarding the situation.
-
More Terror News: thanks to some of his actions at IYH2, Terror has
been hearing a few more cheers from the crowd. This, coupled with
a possible tag partnership with the most over face in PWL history, could
lead Terror down the road traveled earlier this year by Plague: from #1
Most Hated to at or near the top in Most Popular. With Terror, though,
one can never be sure what will happen.
-
Should Terror and Joe team up, they will not only deal with champions HAARLEM
HEAT, established teams such as NC-17, THE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS, and THE THUNDERFEET,
but two new tandems. Actually, they're not so much new as they are
reformed. THE NEW ORDER is once again together, as GENERAL ZOD and
NON have rejoined Women's champion URSA. They are sure to tear up
the tag team scene. In addition, welcome THE SEXECUTIONERS (DON JEREMY
and BUCK NAKED) to the PWL. Fans should recognize these two as the
former DUMB DONALD and BUCKEY of the FAT ALBERT GANG.
-
Another new face in the PWL is the remarkable mat technician M. KLEATS.
Another one of Fat Albert's ex-hencmen, this former MUSH MOUTH underwent
training recently, as the improvement showed at IYH2. A showdown
with Kleats' mentor, North American champion FAT ALBERT, is quite likely
in the future.
-
World heavyweight champion RONALD McDONALD and GRIMACE seem to have reunited.
These two may very well be joining forces as heels, but they have refused
comment for the time being.
-
BOZO THE CLOWN and his entourage are remaining in the PWL. This includes
BUTCH, HERMAN, and COLONEL HUNTER.
-
FU has decide to concentrate on his cruiserweight career. His friends THE
BIG HEAD GUY and THE FAT DUDE will be teaming up for possible tag team
matches. Lest anybody take these two lightly, BHG has a considerable
boxing background, while TFD has wrestled professionally for several years
in other organizations.
-
After over a year, SUEDE SIMPSON and JOHNNY CARWASH have finally made enough
of an impression with the PWL Suits that they have been signed to full-time
contracts with the PWL. Both are competing in the cruiserweight ranks.
