Will J.J. Butt Into The Storylines?

Kicking off the new year in the PWL: major shake-ups. The Terror is once again the World heavyweight champion, his Triple Threat with Joe The Giant, Big Stewie, and manager "Imp" Gene West has reformed, and we have a new man in charge of PWL, J.J. Sternbutt. The Fat Albert Gang has also reformed, and they seem to be meaner than ever. Life seems perfect in the PWL, but is it really so?

Nobody knows quite what to make of J.J. Sternbutt. He hasn't been seen in the PWL since managing The Clubbe in the late-1980s. He doesn't appear to have any ties to the current crop of PWL wrestlers. As a manager, Sternbutt always seemed on the verge of reaching big time status, alongside The Imp, The Gnome, and R.R. Victor. For various reasons, some of which were out of his control, Sternbutt never did reach that elite managerial group. Now, J.J. is in charge of the most storied organization in wrestling. It would not be unlike him to interject himself into the biggest and most important of PWL storylines. Right now, that would be the Triple Threat-Fat Albert Gang feud.

That leads to a burning question: would Sternbutt ally himself with the faces in this feud, The Triple Threat? Or would he revert to his scheming heel ways, siding with Fat Albert and his friends? Sternbutt's allegiance should reveal itself soon, and hopefully he will not drag the PWL through the mud, whichever way he goes.

In Other News...

• Some new wrestlers could be appearing in the PWL in the near future. Wrestlers receiving tryouts include: BIG SID SMITH (The Neighborhood Bully), with his manager MR. McMASTER; RAY LAKE CRAPPIE; and POTATO SALAD JIMMY (with manager ROGER ROOTCELLER).
• Look for THE PIGGIES to receive a big push, possibly including a run at the North American tag championship, currently held by THE NEW ORDER. ZOD and NON don't seem too interested in their belts, as they have been demanding shots at World tag team champions NC-17. This lack of concentration could be the advantage The Piggies need to gain the North American straps. We shall see...
• As we saw last night, Women's champion DARK ANGEL is once again alongside THE TERROR. Additionally, they remain chummy with THE PILLARS OF PAIN. Could a reunion be possible? There is a possibility, but anything can change.
• Left out in the cold of that possible reunion is Midgets' champion CAP'N CRUNCH. The devious Cap'n is still under the belief that the PWL version of The Pit is still together, and that Terror telepathically tells him what to do at all times. Whatever it is he believes does seem to work for him, as he's been the world's top midget competeitor for over seven months now.
• Rumors are surfacing of a new force entering the PWL soon. All we have been able to gather is that this person is "big, bad, and bald." More on that, definitely.
