WRESTLERAMA MATCHES ANNOUNCED...
There's only one month to go before WRESTLERAMA 14! That may sound like a long time, but it's definitely coming on fast for those behind the scenes in the PWL who always like to book things at the last minute. To avoid that potentially embarrassing situation, the PWL Suits have booked all of the championships bouts ahead of time. You know that World heavyweight champion THE TERROR will defend the prestigious title against the PWL Legend, THE TRAIN. Here are all of the other championship bouts scheduled for April 2 in St. Louis:
North American heavyweight champion COOLEROY defends against former champion M. KLEATS;
World tag team champions NC-17 (DIRK MERCURY and TRIPLE X) take on THE PILLARS OF PAIN (GOLEM and QUARTZ) and THE SEXECUTIONERS (DON JEREMY and BUCK NAKED) in a 3-Team Elimination match;
North American tag team champions RUFUS VAN PELT and BILLY JO JIVE take on former champions THE FABULOUS HORNER BROTHERS in a no-disqualification, falls-count-anywhere match;
Women's World champion DARK ANGEL will take on THUMBELINA (managed by AUNT RHODY);
Midgets' World champion CAP'N CRUNCH meets his toughest challenge since winning the title last June, the one and only TOGUS.
More matches will be announced this weekend, as all of the PWL greats will be involved in the biggest wrestling card of the year.
PWL NEWSBITES...
While JOE THE GIANT is no longer under PWL contract, he may be coaxed into an appearance at WRESTLERAMA. JTG has told PWL ONLINE that he wants to take some time off on his emu farm. JTG will also take part in the PWL's upcoming video game, Micro League Wrestling, in which he battles one-on-one against The Terror.
Also rumored to be leaving the PWL are: THE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS, THE THUNDERFEET, THE MOONDOGS, and FU. Their contracts will expire the day following WRESTLERAMA. On February 29, the contracts of MOONDOGS 2000 and ULTIMO MOONDOGS expired, and both teams will be wrestling elsewhere.
There is talk that THE PIGGIES may be undergoing a makeover soon. No word yet on what that could include.
That's all the news right now. Check in this weekend for more WRESTLERAMA matches, and thanks for checking out PWL ONLINE.
