PWL22 MATCHES ANNOUNCED

It's now less than one month until PWL22, the PWL's 22nd Anniversary Show, live from Browns Grounds in St. Louis on June 10. And now, we can announce some of the matches for the big event.

The main event is a 4-Man Match for the World heavyweight championship: World heavyweight champion THE TERROR will take on FAT ALBERT, SCHOOLHOUSE ROCKY, and SUPER HEAVY... but not at the same time. How will this match take place? Find out below:

• The match will begin with two wrestlers competing one-on-one, and the other two watching from the ring floor. After three minutes, one of those wrestlers (drawn at random) will be replaced by one of the two wrestlers looking on (again, drawn at random). After three minutes of this, another random pick is made. It is, therefore, conceivable that one wrestler remain in this match for several drawings in succession, while the others trade off in the other competing spot. This may sound quite confusing, but believe you me, the PWL Suits say they know what they're doing.

For the North American heavyweight title, COOLEROY defends the championship against BIG SID SMITH "The Neighborhood Bully" (managed by "Mean Old" MR. McMASTER in a steel cage match.

World tag team champions THE PILLARS OF PAIN (GOLEM and QUARTZ) defend their coveted straps against THE NEW ORDER (GENERAL ZOD and NON) in a classic Australian-rules tag team match, meaning best two-out-of-three falls.

World cruiserweight champion KARATE MAN takes on SUPER ELASTIC in a 30-minute Iron Man match.

More matches will be announced soon. All championships are scheduled to be defended at the show. In addition to the bouts, there will be extra-curricular activities as well:

• The dedication of the PWL Hall of Fame, with its first inductees;
• A special tribute to the late wrestling great THUNDERCAT;
• Plus your chance to chat with all of the PWL's stars, past and present.

Be sure to mark June 10 on your calendar, it could very well be a day you would be hard pressed to forget!

TRAINING CAMP NOTES

PWL Trainer BIG STEWIE tells us that he is quite impressed with the abilities of PLASTIC MAN and BABY PLAS. In addition, WAFFLE HOUSE has benn working out at the training facilities in a comeback attempt. Big Stewie hopes his current crop of trainees can make it onto the PWL circuit shortly, perhaps right after PWL22.
