Rini is the daughter of Neo-Queen Serenity and King Endymion. She comes from the future, and actually landed on Darien and Serena while they were kissing. Rini is a spoiled brat and can be very annoying sometimes. But she is just lonely and afraid, with the burden on her almost too much too bear. Later, however, she becomes happier living with Serena.

After first describing her as a relative of Serena, the two later discovered that they were mother and daughter, and that she had been sent to the past to be protected. Later Rini becomes Sailor Chibi Moon, a sailor soldier in training. While her attack are weak and don't have any more effect than a slap on the wrist, she still tries hard.
