Michael Aukofer
Mike Aukofer was one of the newest people to be considered part of Rich's band. It appears as though he gets to play any odd
instrument no one else could/would? He even kicks a pop-corn
tin during one of Mitch's songs. (It's pretty humorous) My favorite
instrument he plays is the hammer dulcimer. Having him play
sort of helps set the mood for a lot of the songs they are
doing on the Homeless Man Tour. Also, did you know that those
are his hands we all see in the "Homeless Man" video? He is
also working on a teaching-type video for those of you interested.
in learning how to play dulcimer on some of Rich's songs. He met
Rich and Mitch while in college at Friend's University. As soon as
Michael
graduated, with a music teaching degree, he joined them on tour.
He's a wonderful addition and a really great guy. Michael is now teaching at a university & doing a great job!
