My latest accomplishment...On October 5th, 2002 I won the title of Miss Summer Polonia 2002.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for spending some time looking around my little corner of the world here on the internet. I hope that you have enjoyed what I have shown you on this visit. I also welcome any comments & suggestions you may have.

Now a little bit about me and my background.

My name is Ewa J. and I am the webmaster for this site. Originally coming from Europe, I am a 20 year old university student and I am attending the University of British Columbia located here in the city of Vancouver. As of September 2002, I am enrolled in my second year of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program. After graduation, I plan to go to medical school and study medicine, in hopes of becoming a successful nurse or doctor someday.

I continually strive to find talent in other areas. I have been designing webpages and graphics since about early 1998 and have developed an enthusiastic interest for it. With each passing day I have learned something new and applied it to my skills. I construct both personal and family webpages in addition to business and company sites. I believe that everyone in this modern age should have their online presence become known. The internet keeps us all connected from all ends of the earth.

I have many other hobbies as well. In my spare time I enjoy volunteering at a local senior residence center, at a local hospital, writing, singing, ballet & ballroom dancing, travelling, and tutoring. Ever since I was a young girl, I have always loved to sing and dance. My parents supported me, and I have taken ballet classes since the age of six. I have attended the Hamilton Ballet School and the Richmond Academy of Dance. As of that time, I've began to develop a passion for dancing, and have gained a strong determination for anything I do in life. It has also been one of my goals and dreams to perhaps become a model one day. As each year passed, I have gained more and more confidence...and now my goal seems to be within reach. I have recently taken up ballroom dancing with my partner. I began taking ballroom dancing classes with my boyfriend at the Grand Ballroom in Richmond. We are currently at the Bronze I level and specialize in the Latin American dances such as the cha cha, samba, mambo, salsa, tango, jive, and waltz. As a couple, we enjoy this activity very much.
