Scholarship Endowment Fund

The Upsilon Omega Foundation, Inc. believes that a long-term fundraising plan should be adopted to promote the establishment of a permanent scholarship endowment fund. Such a plan should include as a primary goal the establishment of a fund at a level where interest earned on the principal will support at a minimum at least four individuals on four-year scholarships not to exceed $1,000 each year for no more than four years. It is the Foundation's belief that approximately $200 thousand would be required as a permanent endowment fund to sustain such a scholarship program.

The Foundation therefore submits the attached plan and recommends acceptance by the Upsilon Omega Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
