Technology Using digital technology to create lasting memories
The equipment we use: |
|
We currently utilize the Sony DSR250 Professional digital camcorder. Though this is our primary camera, some of our videographers utilize other professional digital cameras by Sony, Cannon and JVC. They all produce a superior image quality compared to many other formats, such as SVHS, due to their digital imaging, and the way they capture color with 3 computer chips called CCD's. Be sure to ask any video company you are considering whether or not they utilize 3-chip, digital technology. It truly makes the difference. Another advantage of digital video is that there are no drop outs (those annoying lines that occassionally appear while you are watching standard video tapes), so you can count on an enjoyable, crystal clear wedding DVD.
To ensure crystal clear audio for your vows and other unforgettable moments during the ceremony, we employ a two-channel wireless microphone receiver with two small transmitters. One is placed on the groom's lapel and one somewhere else at the ceremony location, usually on the podium where any readings will take place. These microphones have an average range of about 250 feet, capturing all the audio, regardless of where the camera may be placed. Finally, the raw digital footage of your special day is professionally edited on a digital, non-linear editing system, with subtle effects befitting such an occassion. Technology, skill and creativity all working together to help you create those memories that you will always cherish. |
