    Impact of research on discipline

  • Dr. Yagoub scholarship is cited by many international researchers and published articles are indexed in Google Scholar, Open Research and Contribution ID (ORCID), Scopus, ResearcherID and Research Gate. Citation is one indicator of the impact, but I consider applying remote sensing and GIS for local community problems is also an important contribution e.g. for schools, land use change, hazard assessment, wind energy, and health. This helps in convincing local departments to implement and support remote sensing and GIS within their premises and consequently more jobs are created for my students.
