The fire grows…
the heat almost unbearable at times…
yet I survive the onslaught of the flames…

How many tests can we survive?
How many wounds before our bodies start to give in?
How many emotions before our souls fade from our being?
How many heartaches before our love turns sour?
We fight, but for whom?
We breathe, but for what?
We live, but why for?
