Ecuador 2000--Page 3

This is the iguana. It narrowly escaped the stomach of Tim.

This is Dave. He didn't eat the worm after all.

This is Al and Nate. Al is a big guy.

This is Rueben and KJ. Rueben graduated.

This is the chapel. At this point we were a day or two away from the first pouring of concrete. Note all of the rocks. We carried all of those from areas up to maybe 75 yards away.

Here it is again.

This is us pouring a section of the chapel. The chapel has little buttresses.

This is Wilmer. At least I think it is. I'll have to check with Al.

This is Francico. Francico says, "Siempre Coca Cola." "Aie! Aie! Aie!" and "Mas Fuerte!" Francico is a also a cop.

This is Oscar and Jud. Oscar is the foreman of the workers at Al's camp. Jud is our campus minister and our trip's fearless leader.

Here's Tabitha, Matt, and Renee taking a breather from the arduous task of mixing concrete.

This is Stove and the married guys: Jeff and Corey.

This is Isaac and Mary. Believe it or not, Isaac has a look that some call "The Admonishing Look" which can burn through skin and most fabrics.

This is Domingo, Jacob, and Augustine. Domingo made the decision to be Baptised while we were there. Jacob is pretty cool guy, but that doesn't mean that I will pass up the opportunity to point out that he has a bladder problem.

This is Peppe. Peppe does most of the work with the re-bar.
