When I was ten I started getting into ice-skating, and I constantly watched figure-skating on TV and always tried to be as graceful as Oksana Baiul and yet as entertaining as Scott Hamilton. I always made up funky dances to songs, and pretended I was an iceskater. I even went for skating lessons with Steph Oels a few years ago!! I passed two ice-skating classes, and then it wasn't very fun for me anymore.
As I got older I realized that I started getting WAY into acting. I was in so many plays in grammar school and I'm still involved in plays to this day!! I was still a fan of figure-skating, but that was it. I had "unlaced my skates" and found a new interest. I watched TV CONSTANTLY and found many inspirations in both movies and TV Shows. Sometimes I would even try to dress like certain characters, like one time I pretended to be Pippi Longstocking around the house, and another time I was going around my neighborhood trying to be "Jaime the Spy"(the idea came from the movie Harriet the Spy) and I also used to pretend I was Penny from Inspector gadget, with my little "Computer book and watch." I was so crazy.
Then one summer, a new group, Hanson, had come out onto the radio. The first time I heard "MMMBop" I thought that they were the Jackson 5, but after I found out they were a new group, who were around my age, they started to really inspire me, and before I knew it, I was more into singing than I was acting, and, as a matter of fact, I still am to this day. There are SO many new bands and singers these days that I'm into that it's hard to keep track of them all!! But out of all the music groups and singers that I like, Hanson inspired me the most. *NSync haz just been making me want my dream even more, because they are also very inspiringI know most of you are probably gagging about it, but it's 100% true. Not only did I get more involved in singing, but I also found an interest in playing the drums, because my favortie Hanson, Zac, really inspired me in so many ways. SO right now my goal and my dream is to become a famous singer, whether I play drums or not.
