This song, "Train Ride," is about a person's experience on a train. I don't think many people really look around and realize that there are so many different people on a train and they're all doing different things: talking on a phone, eating, laughing, sleeping. That's what this song is about. I got ideas for this song when I went to New York with my good friend, Nerissa(on our way home). I had a small piece of paper and decided to write down everything around me that was going on. So everything you read in here is all true stuff. Hope ya like!
I'm sittin inside a nice warm train
Yet it looks so boring
It's just so plain.
There's a lady sittin across from me
twirlin her hair
She looks so happy
A rich woman just passed the aisle.
You'd think she was walkin for miles
She complains,"Oh my God! Where's my seat?"
I think her heart is full of conceit.
She refuses to stand
I'm so tempted to steal all that stuff right outa her rich hands
Chorus:
I'm on a train ride
I got nothin to hide
People all around
Some not even makin a sound
Train Ride
It makes its stops
It's got conductors, not cops
It's a trainride
The people across from me leave
Now there's a model next to me
A lady passes by with her hands full of bags
Some people look like they're dressed in rags
The model's ticket turns out to be lost
$12.45 for one way's the cost
The conductor's being very rude
So the model gave back his attitude
A woman and a man who are a little bit older
Kepp starin at the model, the woman's head on the man's shoulder
CHORUS
2 skater guys are sleepin in their seats
The seats are BROWN...how "neat"
This is my train ride
Ain't it great?
