Chapter six.

Orion wiped the sweat from his brow and put his hands back in position. The gray aura had faded now, and his breath was pounding as if he'd just run a mile. Orion couldn't believe the power running through him right now. Never in his life had he dreamed there was such power. He continued to concentrate his energy's, trying to duplicate the attack that his opponent had used. Kame....hame ha wasn't it?

His opponent continued to just stare intently at him. A boy not much taller than he. Able to do things that Orion had never dreamed of. Well...Orion was a fast learner. To smart for his own good, his mother had told him on many occasions. He couldn't help but wander what else he could learn from this guy. He already showed extreme talents in combat. Oh, well. There was no way that Murdock was going to let him train with this kid so he might as well forget it.

Orion continued to focus his energies inside himself and propel it into his hands. Still no luck. the only thing he accomplished was singeing his fingernails. His veins started to pop out of his temples as he looked back at what he felt when the other fighter focused his energy. Was it focused within him? Orion thought. No. Not inside him. Outside him? In his hands? No.... That's it! His mind jumbled as a sudden conclusion formed inside his head. He was focusing his power on a single spot between his hands, through his hands. And sense the energy was coming from both directions there was no possibility it could escape unless he released it!

Orion gave a hint of a smile. "OK Bud. You just wait a few more seconds. And be ready. I'd hate to see you get hurt." Orion stated. His voice still so childlike, not unlike Gohan's. Orion then started focusing his power on a single spot between his hands. The energy erupted and began to build up. Orion could feel the heat of the energy, and resisted a reflex to pull back.

* * * * *

Kurillan's eyes widened as Orion started building up his blast. He couldn't believe it. Never had he seen anyone learn this difficult technique in such a short time. Sure he'd herd stories about Goku being able to do it by just seeing it done once, but he'd never really believed... Kurillan blinked and looked around. Oh Crap! His mind alerted. "Gohan!" He yelled. Gohan didn't take his sight off Orion. If Orion managed to complete his task he had no intention of letting the blast even touch him. "Yeah Kurillan?" He replied.

"Don't dodge it!" Kurillan screamed. Gohan quickly turned his head way from Orion and looked at Kurillan. "Are you nuts, Kurillan?" Gohan stared blankly at his friend. Surly he didn't intend on his taking the blast head on. With as much power as Gohan was sensing from the boy now, that would be suicide. "Look around you Gohan." Kurillan continued. "If you let it go there's no telling how much could be destroyed or killed. I still can't feel a thing from him but if he's putting as much as I think he is into it, it could destroy the entire city!"

Gohan quickly turned his head back to Orion. The boy was beginning to chant now. Wouldn't be long till he launched the attack. "Then what do I do Kurillan?" Gohan asked, again, not taking his eyes off of Orion. "Remember what your father did in a similar situation?" Kurillan asked. Gohan's eyes blinked. His face went stern as he finally understood what Kurillan was referring too. He quickly put his hands just inches apart and began charging his own Kame hame Ha.

"HAAS!" Orion screamed as he finished his chant and released the energy. The backlash caused him to go back a few steps, just inches from the edge of the ring. The speed of the blast was absolutely astounding. Gohan in turn released his own energy just a split second before it would have hit him. The two beams collided bursting into a brilliant blue light. Gohan's sudden blast was enough to make thing's difficult for Orion. He gritted his teeth and quickly regained his composure, continuing to feed energy into the beam.

Kurillan looked in shock as Orion's beam started pushing back at Gohan. Before he couldn't feel a thing from the boy. Now, his aura was the brightest power for miles. The amazing thing was he seemed to be just about even with Gohan. He looked at Gohan and could see he was giving it his all to keep the other beam at bay. It wasn't working. Orion's beam started pushing harder, and harder. Just a few feet and Gohan would be extra crispy.

Gohan concentrated his energy and focused his beam. He was starting to get weary. The power Orion was putting out was absolutely insane. If he kept it up at this power he surly wouldn't have anything left. The thing that puzzled Gohan more was that even though the boy seemed to be putting everything into this blast, Gohan could feel even more within his heart. His mind suddenly though of Guru, and how he released his hidden potential. That's right! Gohan thought.

* * * * *

Orion was sweating like a mule. He was almost out of power and this kid showed no signs of letting up. His beam was had almost pushed itself into his opponent, but he didn't think he had enough left to finish the job. His eyes closed. He started to frown as he thought this to be his first defeat. But oh what a loss it would be.

* * * * *

Murdock watch on as the two fighters battled out. He hadn't see anything like this since his own father had taken him to see the worlds martial art's tournament. He started seeing dollar signs as he thought of scheme after scheme that he could get away with using this boy. Maybe kidnapping him wouldn't turn out to be such a bad idea after all.

* * * * *

Behind him in the shadows, lurked a tall figure. His muscular body stood out in the light as his face was tucked in darkness. Beside him hovering in the air was a much smaller figure, whispering something in his ear.

* * * * *

Gohan teeth clenched together as Orion's blast wavered just a foot away, held back only by his own blast. As the blast made it's way just inches closer he began to get a feeling. Orion's blast pressed on, bringing itself just centimeters from his palms. Gohan's eye's opened wide as he felt a sudden rush of power. His head went back, facing away from the beams as he quickly focused this energy into his beam, sending Orion's strait back where it came from.

The blast was to much for Orion to take. His body was sent back like an arrow, strait into Murdock's booth and through the park wall. Gohan looked in shock as he stared at the hole. He hadn't intended on this. He merely wanted to stop this exchange of chi and solve this with fists. although the boy overpowered him, he knew that his own experience was enough to tip the scales

* * * * *

Murdock's mouth dropped open to the ground as he to peered through the hole. His dreams. Dashed. He was planning on making so much money, and now the worthless brat was dead. It wasn't fair.

Kurillan looked up at Gohan. Stepping up onto the ring, he put his hand on Gohan's shoulder. "Why'd you do that Gohan? You didn't need to hit him so hard." Gohan continued to stare at the hole. "I...sniff...I didn't mean to do it. sniff... I only wanted to stop his blast...sniff." Gohan was on the verge of crying when Murdock stared at him angrily.

"You little bastard!" He yelled. "I'll have your head on a stick!" He quickly looked around. "Where's a cop when you need one? That display should have gotten the attention of the entire city!" Murdock again looked at Gohan. "When I get through with you, you won't...ackkk!" Murdock bellowed as he was suddenly lifted up by the collar.

Holding him up with one hand stood a very muscular man. He most desitctive features being his third eye. Everyone looked at him as a very short pale man came up over the triclops's shoulder. He waved a hand and opened his mouth. "Hi everybody!" Came a very high but friendly voice.

"Tenshinan!" Kurillan yelled smiling. Tenshinan just looked at the crying man he held in his arms and dropped him to his knees. "It's not Gohan's fault for the overload." He said. "Chaozu is partially to blame." without moving his head he looked over his shoulder. Chaozu put his hands behind his back and started to sweat. "Yeah sorry about that. I was listening in on everyone's thoughts and when I sensed enormous power in Gohan ..well....I helped release it. I had no Idea how much it would be." He explained. "Are you OK?"

Gohan looked at his feet. "Yeah I'm OK. But Orion...sniff...I doubt...sniff... that he's in such good condition." Gohan sobbed. Tenshinan looked at Gohan.

"What do you mean. He's still alive, sorta. Right over there." Tenshinan pointed outside the hole. Gohan looked up and smiled. wiping the tears from his face he asked. "You mean it? He's still alive?" Gohan started toward the hole slowly still looking at Ten.

"Yes of course." Chaozu replied. "As soon as I realized the energy I helped you release, I used my ESP to shield Orion as much as I could. Although..." He stuttered. "I don't think he'll be up and fighting again any time soon." Gohan yelled in joy as he jumped into the hole and out the other side.

* * * * *

Gohan looked across the street and at the building that stood there. It seemed that Orion didn't have enough momentum to break through the building wall. The wall itself was severely dented and full of cracks and missing pieces of brick. Below that lie the body of Orion. Gohan couldn't sense a bit of power coming from him. Chaozu was wrong...he is dead! Gohan thought in horror. He started to weep again as he crossed the street and jumped over the road blocks. As he jumped over the last barrier he noticed something. Orion started breathing.

Oh thank goodness! Gohan thought as he rushed to Orion's aid. Was he breathing before and I just couldn't see? He thought to himself as he knelt before the battered body. His clothes were almost completely burned from his body except for a little still covering his legs and waist. As Gohan inspected Orion's body he noticed a little pool of blood.

He stared at the cloth that covered Orion's left leg and slowly lifted the fabric. Gohan surveyed the damage. The leg was definitely broken. No doubt about that. The broken bone sticking out of the kneecap told the whole story. Gohan stared that rest Of Orion's small but very muscular body. Broken ribs, and a fractured arm was all that Gohan could see.

He lifted Orion's body into his arms. As he did Orion's eyes partially opened. Gohan stared at his face as he began to mutter something. "Th.. th.. that.. was..." Orion tried to get out. Gohan just looked at him sadly. "Don't try to speak. We're gonna get you some help." Orion paid him no heed.

"Th.. that was...GREAT!" Orion yelled. He smiled up at Gohan before letting his head fall back and losing conciseness. "Don't you die on me now." Gohan yelled as he carried Orion to the hole in the park wall.

* * * * *

Just after Gohan jumped though the hole to check on Orion, Kurillan walked over to Tenshinan. "So Tenshinan. What brings you here? Not that I'm ungrateful or anything but your that last person I'd expect in a place like this.. save for Piccolo." Tenshinan looked at him and spoke. "Me and Chaozu have been training for a tournament that takes place in about three months. Our camp is just outside the city." Tenshinan explained. "We're were just about to break for lunch when we felt this awesome power here and decided to check it out."

"Now what about you?" Tenshinan asked. Kurillan and Gohan were that last people he expected to see fighting for money. Kurillan frowned as he started spilling out the whole story. When he was through Tenshinan closed his eye's. leaving the middle open. "That's quite a story. I wouldn't go telling it to Chi-chi any time soon." Kurillan put his hand behind his head and muttered an agreement.

After a long silence Kurillan finally started to speak. "So Chaozu what can you tell me about our little battered friend? Is he gonna be OK." Chaozu floated up to him, and crossed his arms. "Well..I can't really be sure. I've never quite felt a power like his before. It's not as powerful as Goku. It's almost as if it's on a different wavelink." Chaozu's eyes looked behind Kurillan. "But if your lookin for real info. I suggest talking to him." Chaozu pointed towards the park exit. Kurillan quickly turned around.

There trying to sneak out was a limp weeping Murdock. It seemed Tenshinans lift up surprised him more than he could take. "Stop!" Kurillan yelled ready to give chase. Tenshinan was one step ahead of him. Murdock started giggling as he was almost though the arch. His head quickly met with a barrier, sending him to the ground. He looked up.

Before him stood the very man that had picked his overweight body into the air as if he were a mere feather. Tenshinan looked down upon him with disgust. "Ahhh That's disgusting." Tenshinan waved a hand in the air in a vein effort to freshen it. Murdock slowly looked at his legs. His pants were soiled. A wet spot formed in front of his pants and he felt a trickle down his leg.

"Good god's!" Tenshinan yelled as he picked the fat, blubbering man into the air. A small waterfall emitted from his leg. Tenshinan threw Murdock into the ring, standing behind him before he even landed. "OK you sorry excuse for a human being. Your gonna tell us everything you know about that boy." Murdock looked inside him self and found the backbone he had momentarily lost. "The boy Is mine. I found him. I keep him." Murdock stuttered. His newly found courage was quickly departing.

Kurillan took a few steps closer. Icarus slowly stepping behind him, he continued to watch. Kurillan started to say something, but was quickly interrupted by Gohan jumping through the newly made hole in the park wall. He had the look of worry on his face, as he carried a body in his arms. Kurillan suddenly realized that it had to be the body of Orion. "Quick Kurillan! You have to help. Orion..." Gohan gasped. As he set Orion's body down on the ring mat he started to cry. Kurillan ran to the ring and knelt beside Orion's body.

Murdock decided to use this as a convenient distraction and slowly crawled to the right side of the ring. He could sneak away now and pick the boy up again sometime in the future. If anything he knew the boy knew who his master was. Making it to the edge of the ring he started to step off, yelping as he was suddenly flung into the remains of his booth. "I don't think you'll be goin anywhere." Tenshinan stated. Smiling at the fat bunglers futile attempt to escape.

Kurillan put his head to Orion's chest, and grabbed his wrist. "Well he's breathing...barley." Kurillan said. "And I'm getting a very weak pulse." Kurillan brought his head up and examined Orion's leg. Didn't look good It was broken in at least three places. Not to mention the damage the ribs and head must have suffered. "Gohan we need to get him to a hospital pronto." Kurillan said sadly as he looked at the small pool of blood that was forming around Orion's leg.

He scooped Orion up in his arms and started up into the air. Gohan looked up at him. Tears filling his eye's he nodded and flew up to meet Kurillan. As Kurillan waited for Gohan to catch up he herd a scream from below. "You come back here with him. He's mine and I'll take care of the little brats bruises!" Murdock bellowed from the remains of his booth. He was on his feet now and waving his fist.

Tenshinan stood behind the man and stared at him. "Get out of here and get that kid some help! I'll take care of this sorry excuse for a human being." He exclaimed. Murdock turned his head to get a partial view of the man behind him. "Do whatever you want three eye's. But that kid stay's with me!" He said smugly. "When it comes to my investment I always protect them, and that kid is definitely one of my greatest investments."

Tenshinan smiled at the man and looked up a Kurillan and Gohan. "GO!" He yelled. Kurillan looked at Gohan and both nodded their heads and darted through the sky like two bolts of lightening. Murdock started to go ballistic. "Get back here you little bastards!" He started running in the direction that they had flown. Tenshinan started to give chase, stopping at the end of the ring when he seen that someone else had their own plans.

Icarus lept into the air. Quickly catching up to the raving Murdock, he caught the mans collar in his mouth. Murdock screamed in a high pitch voice that would make any woman look like a baritone. Murdock swung his arms around in a vein effort to escape. He looked down and grabbed the dragons head for dear life. "Argggggg" Murdock yelled. Icarus looked around for a good place to drop his recent passenger. Finally he saw what he was looking for. Icarus swooped down, dropping Murdock into a large barrel labeled "HORSE MANURE."

"Arrrraaakkkk!" Icarus bellowed as he flew into the air to catch up to Gohan and Kurillan. Tenshinan rushed over to about ten feet near the barrel, stopping dead in his tracks. Putting his hand over his mouth, started back a few steps. He looked back towards the area with the ring. "Hey Chaozu give me a hand with this!"

Chapter seven

It took some time, but they finally made it to Karin tower. The three pilgrims flew to it's base. Goku breathed a sigh as he set Vegeta down upon the steps. Putting his hands on his knees he bent over and began catching his breath. He hadn't flown this far in a long time. Ever since that long journey down snake way.

Vegeta scowled as he sat down on the steps. He was still taking his blindness very hard. Tthree times he had lost track of Goku. It took five minutes for Goku and Piccolo to find him. He'd never been more humiliated in his entire life. Even the loss of his tail was pale in comparison to this indignity. He had to emit though. Since his recent injury his other senses where going through the roof. The second time he lost track of Goku he could almost feel the exact presence of where Goku had gone. The third time he caught up with him all by himself before Goku had even realized he was gone.

Piccolo crossed his arms and waited for his partners to catch their breath. He too was just as out of wind as they were, but he had no intention of showing such a weakness. As Piccolo waited he looked up. It would be dark soon. The entire trip must have taken at least six hours. He had thought about his encounter with the soldier several times on the journey. He couldn't help but wonder weather he should have double checked the lake a few more times. It was possible, however unlikely that the currents themselves had ripped the body to shreds. He had used more strength fight the currents that he had during the battle. Many times he had tried sensing him out but no luck. He had sensed a awfully big power level over in the city a few hours ago. But it still wasn't powerful enough to be this Tervin fellow.

The sudden thought of his name made Piccolo turn his head toward Vegeta. Just what was he hiding? This Tervin guy was the first person he'd ever seen get to him like that, besides the first time Vegeta and Goku fought. Was the warrior another one of the Ginyu that just didn't make it to Namek. Piccolo thought not. No. The truth would come out soon enough. All it takes is time.

"Are you done staring, green man?" Vegeta sneered. This took Piccolo back a step. "How did you...?" Piccolo stuttered. Vegeta smiled. Finally something entertaining.

"How did I know you were staring? It's simple. Since I was blinded my ability to sense other powers has been increasing dramatically. With my mind I can see everything with in a few hundred yards away."

Goku turned his back to his friends and stared up at the tower. He couldn't help but think about his first visit to the tower. His first battle with Tao-pie. That battle had nearly killed him, like so many others. His battle with Vegeta had brought him even closer to his death. He looked at Vegeta. "Perhaps you might want to stay this way. An ability like that could come in real handy." Goku joked.

Vegeta wasted no time in getting to his feet and grabbing Goku by the collar and lifting him up into the air. "There's no way in hell that I'm staying like this!" Vegeta screamed. "Now you get up there and get me a Senzu bean. As soon as I have my sight back I'll find the bastard that injured me and rip his soul from his corps!" Goku looked solemnly at his friend and felt nothing but pity. "Let me go." Goku said in a grave voice.

Vegeta hesitated. His face fell as he finally set Goku to his feet. "I'm sorry Kakarrot. It's just that....I've never been this badly humiliated since I lost my tail." Vegeta looked toward his feet. "I will wait here."

"I understand." Goku replied. "You ready Piccolo?" Goku asked the Namek. Piccolo continued to stare in awe at the magnificent tower. Even with his keen eyesight he couldn't see the top. He turned his head to Goku and nodded.

"OK let's go. Don't go wandering off now Vegeta."

"Just hurry as fast as you can." Vegeta replied. Goku and Piccolo Shot into the air like two racing bullets. As he felt them disappear into the sky Vegeta sat back against the steps.

His mental eyesight was getting even stronger. He could actually feel the tower. Every crack. Every curve. It was as if someone was sending a projection of life itself strait into his mind. Vegeta began to wonder. Would this ability continue when his eyesight returned? Or would it dull like a knife used far to much. If it stayed. Oh the use's Vegeta could exploit.

"Report!" Baret ordered as he stepped into the bridge of the Deceus. The crew of the rusted ship had been trying to locate Tervin since midmorning. Here it was seven hours since and not even a hair had turned up. The scanner had registered a power level closing in on Tervin's scouter. Four minutes after that Tervin's scouter stopped sending the relay beckon.

Goran hesitated to reply. The search had turned up absolutely nothing. The probes they sent to the battle sight found not even a hint as to Tervin's whereabouts. "Nothing yet sir." Goran stuttered. "I can come up with only two conclusions. Tervin was completely incinerated in the fight..." Baret looked at him evilly. He had invested allot of time and money into that boy. If it was only to be killed by a lone member of what was thought to be an extinct race, there would be hell to pay. "Or that the relay on the scouter was broken and the Sayon's either took him prisoner, or he escaped."

"And where are the Sayon's now?" Baret asked. His voice was grave and very unsettling. "Near one of the earth's temples. Perhaps they intend to make a sacrifice." Goran continued to fumble away with the control panel. The sensors fixed on the Sayon location. "One is staying at the base of the tower. The other Sayon and the Namek are flying to the top." Goran continued to amplify the scanner.

"Power levels?" Baret asked.

"The Sayon on the bottom is registering at 20,000. The other is at 5,000, and the Namek is at 1,000." Goran informed his master.

Baret thought solemnly for a minute. "I've had up to here with these damned Sayon's. I think It's time to take care of the problem." Baret stood from his seat, and started for the lift. "Come with me Goran. I have a special job for you." Goran nodded towards one of the attendants at the rear console. As he came to take his place Goran followed Baret into the lift. "Deck 3" Baret told the computer. The lift began it's decent immediately. "I want you to go down to the planet. There you will dispose of the Sayon that stayed behind on the surface. Since he's obviously the strongest, once he's out of the picture the other's will go down easily."

Goran nodded. Now was the time to show his master that he was more than just a simple tech. Besides, he'd been sitting at a console for at least a year now. His fists were ready for some action. "Now you must be very careful." Baret continued. "They obviously have the ability to increase they're power level. I wager that, other than the one Sayon, each has a power over at least 500,000 or they would never have been able to beat Freeza."

Goran continued to follow his master through the winding corridors. He considered this quite an honor. Nobody was allowed onto deck 3, save for Baret and Tervin. "Now, we've already gotten a power level of over 1,000,000 from one of the Sayon's. Last I checked your power level was only around 700,000." Baret stopped at a door. Stepping over to a small keypad built at an angle next to the door he punched in a long code. As soon as he finished the door whizzed open. "Let's see if we can't do something about that."

Baret led Goran into the room and started fiddling with random items on a nearby table. As his master continued to fiddle he looked around the room. It was oval shaped. At least 50 feet around. On the far side to the right of the entrance stood a cabinet. and next to that some kind of generator. A little farther around towards the far end of the room stood a huge console. It's configuration and display was unlike anything Goran had ever worked on. Behind him he saw a massive long tube stretching from the floor to the ceiling. Random wires and tubes connected themselves to it.

"Are you ready." Baret turned to his servant and held up a small needle.

"For what sir." Goran gulped. he'd been scared of needles ever since he was a hatchling.

"I'm going to make you much stronger." Baret replied. Goran nodded as Baret positioned the needle beside his arm. Baret smiled and violently shoved the needle into Groans body. Goran screamed. Baret laughed as he started squirting the needles contents into Goran's arm.

Finally he removed the needle. Purple blood started flooding out of Goran's arm. Goran quickly brought his arm up to cover the wound. Suddenly he felt an interesting itch start up his arm and move quickly throughout his entire body. "Wh.. what was.. that stuff?" He stuttered. He was starting to feel light headed. His whole body suddenly spasmed as his blood turned afire. Goran screamed in pain. Back on the bridge everyone looked downward as the scream could be herd most easily.

Slowly the pain resided. Goran sat up. His breathing was harsh. His very being seemed alien to him. Just what had the old coot done to him? "If you are done now we will begin." Baret said as he made for the long tube. Goran stared at him wide eyed.

"What do you mean begin? Just what was in that needle?" Baret started pushing buttons on a console beside the tube.

"My own version of nanotechnology. As soon as it entered your system it constructed a tiny microprocessor in the base of your skull. From there it began anylisising your DNA. Then it started looking for faults. Finally it fixed those faults. Your body is now in the best shape it's ever been. Every scar you've ever received, every piece of fat in your body, is now gone."

Goran started to inspect his own body. It was true. His muscles looked more toned than he'd ever had them. He started to get feeling back into his arm. Slowly he removed his hand form his wound. Not even a scratch. Goran looked wide eyed at the spot where not just five minutes ago his master was jabbing a needle. The wound had been at least and inch long. No way it could have closed up.

"And it will stay that way until you die or the microprocessor is removed." Baret stated as continued to fiddle with the controls. "Now lets start the real process."

"But master..." Goran interrupted. "If you could do this all along why not do it to the rest of the men?" Baret stopped. He looked at his servant.

"Because the survival rate is one out of ten." He stated.

Goran gulped. One out of ten? "You mean.....?" he stuttered.

"Yes...actually I didn't expect you to live. So encase of your death the micro processor instantly takes over brain functions. The body then becomes, in essence, a robot." Baret explained. "But I am most relived that you lived because it makes the next process so much simpler." Baret turned and pressed a button on the console.

As soon as the button was pressed the front part of the tube seemed to melt away leaving a hole about four feet long. "Step inside please." Baret waved a hand in front of the tube. Goran hesitated. "Oh and before you do could you please take off your shirt. it's makes the process much easier." Goran hesitated again. Finally his arms reached up, and pulled his gray uniform shirt off, reviling the hairy blue chest underneath. He threw his shirt aside and slowly stepped into the tube.

He had at least a foot all around to move. Nevertheless, he started feeling a little hint of claustrophobia. He hoped the this wouldn't take long. Baret pushed the button again and the melted tube reinforced itself, not even leaving a blimish. "See those little wires with putty on the ends?" Baret asked as he started for the big console at the other end of the room. "Place them on your chest." Goran looked down and sure enough the wires were there, putty and all. He placed them on his chest. The putty on them suddenly came to life and dug into the skin puncturing his chest. Goran screamed yet again in pain. He could feel the substance make it's way through every vein and artery in his body. The pain was almost as bad as the shot.

Baret pressed a few buttons and raised his right hand to a big green button closest to him. "OK, don't die on me now, cause this is really gonna hurt!" Baret pressed firmly down on the button.

The entire tube began to glow. Goran raised his head as little blurred balls of light began to float upward. His whole body suddenly lifted up into the air bringing him directly into the middle of the tube. The balls of light were beginning to collect on the ceiling and started to fill up the top. The light slowly began to flow along the sides of the tube completely encasing Goran inside the tube. He couldn't even see outside. Finally the light completely enveloped the tube.

"Oh Shit!" Goran screamed as the light stuck him on every part of his body. The light seemed to be taking his body apart piece by piece while the putty connected to the wires began they're rain of destruction on the inside. Never in his life had Goran felt such pain. If he could have taken breath his screams would have been heard al the way to earth. The air in the tube was completely gone now. Inside there was only energy and assaulted body of Goran.

Baret looked on as the tubes inner casing was starting to be encased with purple blood. In thh past he had only put three other people into the chamber, and that was before he started introducing the nanotech shot. Only one had lived. That one was Tervin. It took him months to find out why. Finally a DNA analysis reviled Tervin's little secret. Baret laughed at the thought. For he even doughted the Tervin himself knew. That in itself was a cosmic display of Irony. Anyway, it was what led to the creation of the nanotech body enhancer.

Goran still continued to try and scream, dispite the lack of oxygen. The light suddenly faded and the tube finally seaced it's relentless assault on Goran's body. He hit the floor hard. He slowly got to his knees, and painfully opened his eyes. Vision in his right eye was completly gone. He slowly reached up with what was left of his left hand and cuffed his right eye.as he tried o rub some of the life back into it he suddenly came to a conclusion. His right eye was no longer there. He looked at his chest. The wires were gone. The energy must have incinerated them. But how come he wasn't incinerated, and how is it that he was even alive at all that? His body continously racked with pain he loked around with his good left eye. The glass had been completly covered with his blood and pieces of flesh. His skin was completely gone, along with massive chunks of his muscles. In some places even his bone was showing, or gone. He suddnly understood what it was like to be put into a blender alive.

He looked up and wiped a hole in the blood that covered the tube. Through it he saw Doctor Baret standing beside the tube with his arms crossed. He smiled at Goran and simply whispered. "Wait. It gets better." Goran cocked what was left of his right eyebrow. Suddenly his body started to feel as though a thousand ant's were crawling upon him. He watched as new cells slowly fomed onto his bone repleacing what was destroyed. Even throughout his own body he could feel the rest of his bone being reinforced. His muscle two was starting to return and Grow stronger. His vision returned, better that it had ever been. He looked at his broken body. It no longer looked broken. New pockets of skin busted out of his chest, and arms. Quickly they wrapped around his body. He felt as though he were being reborn, painfully.

Finally when his body had completely healed form the tubes onslot, he felt better that he had ever felt before. As he looked over his body he couldn't help but notice that he was a good foot taller than before. His skin was no longer blue, but an interesting tint of greyish blue.

Baret looked at his servant with the look of a proud parent. "Computer. Scan subject F." Goran looked at his master quizzically.
