Chapter Fourteen (Continued)

Goku stooped suddenly in the middle of the sky. He'd been carrying Gohan and Krillan as fast as he could go since leaving the house. His face had been stern the entire way, never once wavering in another direction. Now his face was one of confusion.

He'd first learned the ability to feel another chi from Kami, the god of earth. It'd taken a lot of time to master the skill but he'd finally gotten to the point that he could feel the chi of every person on the planet if he concentrated hard enough. Since leaving the house he'd been solely focused on Orion's chi. That is, until it suddenly vanished.

"Wha... What's wrong daddy." Gohan asked looking up at his father. His eye's drifted to Krillan. He too had the look of bewilderment.

Goku suddenly realized what had happened. It seems the same technology Tervin used to mask his presence could also be used to hide and entire area. Goku's mind focused around the place Orion had disappeared. Within a sphere a half-mile long there was nothing. Not a single plant or animal existed.

"It's Tervin. That's why Orion left. Somehow he could feel his presence beyond Tervin's technology." Goku stated. Krillan looked up at him and nodded. "But why? He's never met Tervin before. What reason could he have to go find him?" Goku shook his head.

"I don't know Krillan. I got a bad feeling about this." He looked at Krillan, then at his son, then back to the horizon that Orion had disappeared to. "I want you and Gohan to circle a little to the left. Find whatever is masking the surrounding area and take it out. I'll take care of Tervin and whatever else is there."

Gohan and Krillan nodded. "Good luck." They said in unison. Goku returned they're nods. "You too." With that he took off in Orion's direction soaring through the morning sky.

"Well Gohan let's get moving." Krillan said. Gohan looked at him sternly as they too took off in they're own direction.

Orion stared at the too combatant's. His long black hair waved subtly in the shallow breeze that rolled by. In his heart he knew not an ounce of fear. Like he was impervious to whatever atrocities that these two monster's could wreak.

His eye's shifted from one to the other. Then they shifted towards the outer courtyard and around the pavilion. Suddenly he felt a scream. Like the one he'd heard from his mother from so far away, only this time.. it was more distant. More like the moan of some hideous creature doomed to a life of tragedy.

His eye's abruptly shot open. It wasn't a scream he was hearing. He wasn't hearing at all he was feeling. It wasn't like when he'd fought Gohan. Then he'd felt power like a raging wind of a hurricane. This was barely a breath. It made him think of..... death.

He stared blankly at the smoldering corpse that lay just under ten feet away from the two stunned warrior's. Slowly he walked over to it and knelt down.

* * * * *

The Damn child was an exact look-a-like for Viridian. Same nose, same eye's, and if Sinder had known Viridian when he was younger he was sure it was the exact same hair!

How was it possible. Could Viridian have survived the expanse. Such a thing was unheard of, even for a god. Even Sinder himself couldn't survive the interdeminsional current's that brought Viridian to his end so long ago.

The child sat beside the smoldering wench Sinder had fried just minute's before. Sinder understood "Oh I get it. I'm sorry was that your mommy?" Sinder blustered. The child continued to stare down at the corpse. If he was aware of Sinder at all he showed no sign of it.

"All right you little puss sack. You ruddily interrupt me when I was about to kill this other little puss sack...." He pointed at the fallen body of Tervin. "And then you have the gall to ignore me!" Sinder screamed at the child. Still Orion gave him no heed. Sinder smiled. "I like that. It reminds me of me" Sinder brought his hand out, palm to the sky. A small ball of black energy formed just inches from his hand. With a smirk he thrusted the energy ball at him.

Sinder started to laugh as the ball left his hand. He got so caught up in his reveling that he almost missed seeing the ball coming strait back at him. Sinder's face went to shock just before he dodged it, feeling the ball's heat as it glided past his chest. He stared back at the child who still sat beside his fallen mother. "Woah. OK what the hell?!" He muttered.

Sinder growled as he launched a volley of numerous ball's at Orion. They hurtled towards the boy stopping just three feet away, blocked by an unseen barrier. Like they're predecessor they launched themselves back the way they came. Sinder jumped out of the way completely before they could touch him.

"Listen kid! Your really pissing me off, and that's not something smart to do!" Sinder screeched as he propelled himself towards Orion. Orion still gave him no sign he knew or cared about Sinder's presence, or his gantry. Sinder rose his arm in readiness to strike. Just as he was about to land a blow that would cleave Orion's skull from his body he was hurtled backward by the same force that blocked his previous attacks.

Sinder cursed as he landed on his back. Slowly he got to his knee and stared evilly at the boy. He'd been in enough fights and fought enough battle's to know exactly what was going on. The boy was using mana. No, not just using it. He was fused with it. Like it was the living breathing part of his damned soul.

How was this possible. No one in this dimension even knew manna existed, let alone how to use it. Sinder chuckled. He wondered if the boy even really knew just what kind of power he'd stumbled onto. Sinder had met wizards who would kill Orion out of pure jealousy for his gift. And the damn boy has know idea!

Sinder shook his head. It still didn't explain the barrier between him and the boy. He boy would have to be a level fifty mage in order to cast a spell even near that kind of power. Even the Eternal couldn't cast one with that kind of force that quickly.

Suddenly a shift in the air cause Sinder to look the other way. Someone else had arrived at the scene. No, three others. One from the same direction the boy had came and two more were coming from the right.

The first landed a few feet away from Orion. He was dressed in a orange Martial art's GI with two different symbol's only one of them recognizable. It was the symbol of one of the god's of this dimension. Sinder smiled. Anyone worthy of being trained by a god would be worth a laugh or two. The man looked at the boy solemnly for a few seconds, then at Sinder. Sinder returned his stare with an evil smile. The man smirked defiantly in return.

His eye's shifted to Tervin. He had regained his composure and was standing on his feet, cradling his injured right arm. He returned Goku's stare with a nothing but a single spark of hatred. They stood like that for what seemed like hour's. Not a word was spoken between the three of them.

Finally Sinder let out a bellowing laugh. Goku cringed back. Never had he herd such a hideous laugh. "Ahhh now I get it. Tervin, you poor boy. Even though you know you share the same blood you still want to kill him just because he's a Saiyon!" Sinder looked at Tervin with unparalleled glee. Tervin pretended not to hear him. His only thought's were of ripping the newcomer's body to shred's with his bare hands.

"Excellent! marvelous! Totally bitchin!" Sinder squealed. He pointed a finger at Tervin and smiled. "Tell you what. I'll even help you do it. Just remember, after your through with him your ass belongs to me!"

A rainbow of energy leapt form Sinder's finger a shot strait at Tervin. Tervin didn't even have a chance to evade the blow. He stepped back and cursed. At first all he could feel was pain. Horrible searing pain from the inside out that reminded him of being in Baret's augmentation chamber. He screamed out as the bones in his arm and leg shifted back into they're rightful position's and healed themselves. Suddenly the pain subsided and all Tervin could feel was power. His hands and palms rippled with newfound energy like he'd never felt before. His breathing quickened as sparks of energy lept out of nothing and started revolving around him. His eye's seemed to disappear with a bright onslaught of power.

Goku's stepped back a few step's as he watched Tervin's hair turn a familiar shade of gold and became surrounded by a bright golden aura. He never really knew what to expect when he caught up with Orion, but never did he even dream he'd see this. Another Super Saiyon. Vegeta would have a cow!

Tervin looked up and stared defiantly at Goku. Now finally he was going to have his revenge. He heard the hideous creature that had so recently given him the beating of his life squeal with glee as he charged forward in the air, ready to strike at Goku.

Goku went Super Saiyon immediately, his muscles rippling with the surge of sudden energy. He barley saw Tervin's fist coming to bare towards his face and raised his fist to block. He tried his best to block Tervin's blow but was unsuccessful. He went spiraling backward through the courtyard.

Tervin stopped were Goku stood just moment's before. He stared in awe at Goku's sudden transformation. Exactly like his own. So it was true. He was a Saiyon, part Saiyon at least. Tervin clenched his eyes and fist in anger. If he and Baret ever cross paths again Baret would die. That much was already decided. But now he would know pain unlike any creature in the universe. Tervin swore under his breath.

He looked up at Goku. He was already getting to his feet, staring at him with a predators patience. Did it really matter that they were of the same blood? The Saiyon's had killed his mother, destroyed his home. Later they had ravaged his adopted world and sold it for the price of a pair of panties.

Sinder looked at them like a child watching a G-rated movie. He couldn't remember when he had so much fun. He giggled to himself as his eyes came again to the boy. He was still there, crouched beside his mother's corpse. Suddenly Sinder noticed something. The body no longer had it's smoldering from. It's skin was reddish pink like a newborn baby. Sinder smiled as he finally understood what the boy was doing. He was regenerating the body. He was powerful yet inexperienced so the spell was taking forever to set off. Still it was a spell Sinder had not seen since the days of Merlin. His eyes shot quickly back to the show out in the courtyard. The action was heating up.

Goku dodged back as Tervin attacked. Three time's he barely evaded Tervin's blows. The fourth sent him upward towards the sky. A second later Tervin was upon him. Goku had no time for though. Not time for counter. Only time for one move."Kao-KEN!" Goku shouted. His body dazzled in a mixture of red and gold. He caught Tervin's fist midstrike and thusted him to the right. The excess energy was only enough to belay Tervin's attack. Goku stopped in the air as he realized that Tervin was just playing with him.

Chi-Chi grunted in frustration as she stormed through the house. First her husband leaves her alone for an entire day, comes home with a stray, although cute, child. Then just when she thinks thing are going to be fine, she wakes up the next day to find the house completely empty!

The least he could of done was leave a note! But no! Her now good husband was far to uncaring to even do that! And where was Gohan! He had school today! Did he go with his father or did he run of on his own adventure in his fathers footsteps?!

Chi-chi slammed her fist on the table. "When I see those two I'll.... I'll....I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'LL DO!!!! But I'm sure it'll be really bad!"

Chi-chi was so lost in her anger and frustration the she didn't see the strange glowing blue light forming in her living room. It hastily took the form of a man as it developed into a tall blue robed figure. He looked around the room and saw Chi-chi, her back to him.

"Excuse me madam." He said in the most elegant and respectful of tones. Chi-chi gasped and turned around. She put her back against the wall as she gazed upon the bearded intruder. "I'm looking for a small boy, I was sure I'd find him here...." Chi-chi looked at him with a devilish smile. The man cringed back in fear.

Gohan and Krillan Searched three houses before coming to the one with at the source of the nothingness. Krillan had to pinch himself just to make sure he hadn't died when he couldn't even feel his own power. He was very relieved his other senses still worked. "Come on, Gohan. This place reminds me too much like being dead" Gohan nodded ad followed his friend through the village.

They could hear the fighting coming from the town square. Sounded heavy, and yet they could feel a thing. They left the searched houses in a complete mess of chaos. Books flung every where. Undergarments covering the floor. Papers and writing untinsils flung every which way.

Finally Krillan had and idea. He stretched out with his mind till he could feel something, anything. He continued till he was feeling and entire circle of life about a half mile wide. Gohan let out a slight gasp as Krillan suddenly burst out. "Over there!" He pointed towards a house just outside the square. "That's the house in the middle of the nothingness." They decided to go in through the back door to keep from getting in the middle of whatever was going on in the square.

The inside of the house itself looked like it had seen better days. The wall facing the front had a huge hole in it. Bookshelves were knocked over. Krillan looked around for anything that might be causing the disturbance. He stepped back in shock as he noticed the little girl hiding in the shadows. Her shirt was covered in blood with a small hole near her midsection. She looked to be almost ten, with long blonde hair and glowing blue eyes. Krillan couldn't help but make an observation that her face looked an awful lot like Orion's.

"Uh... Hi. I'm Krillan Th... this is Gohan. Are you OK." He took a step forward and she looked p at him defiantly. His eyes rested on the hole in her shirt and the fresh blood surrounding it. He turned and looked at the path leading from the holes in the wall. It lead strait to the head of a horned animal. Somewhat reptilian in nature it's horns looked like they could price a tank. They too were covered in blood.

Krillan looked back at her. She was breathing normally. She didn't looked to be in any pain of any kind. So this is why Orion high tailed it here. He knew. Somehow he could feel through whatever was masking the life in this area and tell his sister was in distress. "Yep your just like Orion aren't you." Krillan almost laughed trying to break the silence. She looked at him quirky. "O... O.. Orion." She looked down as if lost in thought. She started whispering to herself. "Were those the stars he chose?" Krillan didn't have a chance to ask whet she had said.

"Hey Krillan come over here. I think I've found it." Gohan shouted from the other room. Krillan spared one more glance at the child before he quickly headed into the room. Gohan was there kneeling over a small table looking at a saucer sized disk. Krill walked over to it and stared. It didn't look like any scouter he'd ever seen. He slowly brought his hands up to it and held it in the air. He looked at it doubtfully. "I don't think so Gohan. It doesn't even look like a Saiyon scouter.... Ahhhgggg!" Krillan screamed as he held the devise up to his ear to check if it was making any strange noise. The devise had instantly clung itself behind Krillan's ear forming itself around the ears base and planting a small receiver in his ear canal. He gave yet another shock as a small purple screen brought it's self in front of his right eye. "Then again I might be wrong." Krillan said dolefully. Gohan suppressed a giggle.

Krillan also started to laugh. He was interrupted when he hard a small voice come from the receiver. "UNKNOWN USER. REIMPLEMENTING LANGUAGE AND COMMAND CODES FOR USE BY NEW USER. HELLO...... KRILLAN." Krillan gasped as he heard it say his name. "CURRENT STATUS: 90% FUNCTIONAL. HOMING BEACON NONOPERATIVE. INSUFFICIENT RESOURCE TO COMPLETE REPAIR. ALL OTHER SYSTEMS AND FUNCTIONS AT FULL CAPACITY. SYSTEMS CURRENTLY RUNNING: MAIN SCAN, DAMPENING FIELD SET TO HALF MILE RADIUS. ENDING STATUS REPORT." Krillan stood wide eyed. This was far more advanced than a Saiyon scouter.

Krillan looked around the room as the scouter started to buzz. He looked towards the front of the house as two high power levels started to emerge. He let out a slight gasp as the wall seemed to disintegrate and give him a complete view of the courtyard. There he saw Goku and Tervin in the midst of a brawl, as well as another figure watching on. The scouter buzzed and whirled as numbers came up in mid air. Krillan noticed the number's were readable. another difference to the Saiyon scouter.

Goku seemed to be losing with a power level of 22,000,000. Krillan gasped as the other fighters power level top at 32,000,000. Goku didn't seem to stand a chance. Occasionally Goku's power level would go up a million or two but go back down just as easily. "Hmmm I wonder why the scouter can pick up on energy levels but we can't feel them?" Krillan though to himself.

"DAMPENING FIELD IS CURRENT SET AT 23.48 SEGS. SCAN FREQUENCY IS ALSO SET AT 23.48 SEG." The scouter whined. Krillan hardly understood what that meant but it gave him an Idea. "Can you turn off the dampening field?" Krillan said outloud.

"DAMPENING FIELD IS CURRENTLY CAPABLE OF DISFUNCTION." It answered. "Uh... OK then turn it off." Krillan said in an annoyed voice. He was starting to like the Saiyon version better and better. But the only thing this one probably couldn't do is make french fries.

"DAMPENING FIELD WILL BE DISENGAGED IN APPROXIMATELY 3.99 SECONDS. COOKING FUNCTION IS INSTALLED. WOULD YOU LIKE TO PREPARE THE FRENCH FRIES?" It responded. It's tone almost seemed sarcastic. Didn't matter. 3 seconds later Krillan was sorry he gave the order.

Vegeta sat in by the window of his room at capsule corp. Bulma had set him up here after he'd arrived with the other survivors of planet Namek. He and her were starting to get close. Too close if Vegeta had anything to say about it. Yet there was something about her that he just couldn't figure out. Something hidden.

Oh well, his mind was far from Bulma anyway. His mind was on his current state. Oh how the other Saiyon's would laugh at him now if they could see him. Blind and helpless. Well maybe not helpless. his newly found insight to the world around him gave him a new perspective. He could feel everything in his room. The bed, every ripple and hole in the unmade sheet. Every twine in the carpet, every speck of dirt. Even the light of the outside lamps coming through the window giving shadow to his form as it broke through the darkness of his unlit room.

He had been able to maneuver in and around the building as if he weren't blind at all. But he still didn't like it. It still seemed like and injury, an inconvenience. He scoured out the window as he pondered his fate. He would make the maggot that did his to him pay for what he'd done.

His mind was only focused around his room. He was paying not a single though to the outside world. It mattered not. The sudden onslaught of energy made itself known to Vegeta anyway. It ravaged his brain like a hammer hitting a melon. He screamed out in shock as she jumped back into the room and made himself ready for battle.

The power he felt was huge. Larger than huge. It was gigantic. No even that was to small a word. It literally didn't have an end. Vegeta's mind began to hurt as he searched for the proper word. Even the universe itself would not be so much a speck it were compare to the power he felt then. suddenly he realized something. It's power was comparable to the boy Goku's had with him. Impossible. The boy had a power level smaller than the Namek when he was at the hospital. No matter how strange the power was it still wasn't nowhere near as grand. This was the power he expect to see in a god! His mind began to throb as his blind eyes stared in wonder out the window.

He stopped trying to gauge it and started attempting to localize it. It was some distance away. It would take him maybe fifteen minutes to get there. Vegeta swallowed hard as he continued to press his mind around the area of the vergense. He could detect other power levels. Small specks in comparison. Suddenly Vegita recognized a few of the powers. One was definitely Goku. HE was at full power and seemed to be fighting another of even greater strength. Who in the next dimension could it be? Vegeta eye's popped open as he finally recognized the other. A power he'd hadn't felt since he was a child. Tervin.

That was all the motive Vegeta needed as he shot through the window bringing glass shards falling in his path. The heavens streaked with his violet aura.

* * * * *

Goku couldn't understand it. He couldn't feel his own power let alone his opponents. He tried his best to block every blow Tervin leashed out. Blows that with the Kao-ken technique he should have been able to counter easily. But without the ability to sense his own power level he couldn't gauge how far he was going. Twice now he'd done the equivalent of a Kao-ken times one hundred. His body felt like it was being ripped apart. Tervin had just used the opening to put a few more brusies into Goku's body.

Goku stopped relying on using the technique. It was only hindering his own abilities. Luckily it was still a ground battle. Tervin smiled at him as he came down again to knock Goku to the ground. Goku Dropped down landing on his back and pushed upward with his feet. Tervin saw this at the last instant. He grabbed out with his hands, taking hold of Goku's ankles. Twisting his body he threw Goku into the air. Flipping himself so his feet hit the ground he lept into the air after him.

Goku felt the sudden rush as Tervin was beside him before he even knew he was in the air. Tervin pounded Goku to the ground. As Goku landed the impact of his collision sent the Cobblestone path in every direction. Goku winced in pain as he felt his broken ribs give when he moved.

Tervin landed in front of him, his face the embodiment of hatred. He didn't care that he had probably sold his soul to the devil himself for his revenge. All that mattered was that he would have it.

"For my mother! For the pain she suffered!" Tervin shouted, his voice horse, like he was on the verge of tears. "For the years I have wasted hunting you and your kind down! You DIE" Tervin brought his fist up to strike.

Tervin had always relied on scouters to know where a power was and how big it's might. Never had he dreamed that one could feel a power. He had wondered how the two Saiyon's had found him so easily and quickly when Baret turned of his scouters field. Now he knew. And Tervin suddenly realized he had sold his soul to the very devil himself. For only such a being could have harbored a power this great and evil.

Goku too felt the power. Aside from Orion, who didn't even look up from the regenerating body of his mother, he was the only one who wasn't surprised at the size of it. The only thing that startled him was the grander of evil it was concentrated around. Frieza himself was a boy scout in comparison. This evil had surely come from the darkest pits of hell. A pity he'd never find out how right he was.

* * * * *

Tervin stepped back in fear as he turned his head and stared at the creature who had just minutes before been about to end his life. The creature stared back with a wicked smile. "No.... It's impossible. No such evil could possibly exist!" Tervin shouted out as tears literally jumped form his eye's. His golden aura surrounded him as he jumped into the air and shot off into the distance.

* * * * *

Sinder made not a move. He had wondered why no one was really afraid of him. In every dimension he'd ever been they had literally died of fear when he bared his full might for everyone to see. Everyone here didn't seem to give him any notice at all till just a few seconds ago. All of a sudden all eyes on this planet were on him. "Hmm No matter. I found him once I'll find him again." He looked back toward the boy, not giving any notice to Goku.

The boy was still crouched beside his mother. The body still looked like it had. Red and lifeless. The boy was powerful but not experienced enough to bring back the dead. Sinder thought for a moment about bringing her back to life himself, just to kill her again in front of the boys eye's. No..... The boy had already surprised him too much already. If what he suspected was true, he didn't want to make the boy even more unpredictable.

* * * * *

Goku grimaced in pain as he took a small bag from his pocket. He fumbled his fingers around for a few seconds before producing a senzu bean. As he scarfed it down he was thankful he'd saved the rest after trying to cure Vegeta's blindness. His power instantly restored itself as his muscles healed and his ribs snapped back into place.

He stared at the vengeance of evil that stood in the middle of the courtyard. The creature kept staring back at Orion for some reason. Like it was on it's guard for some reason. Goku couldn't understand why. From what Goku could tell Orion was at about the same power level as Vegeta, who was still not even near the kind of power Goku had discovered so recently. Of corse the creature also seemed to emit a strange signiture in his power like the boy, but Orion's was much more pronounced.

Goku truned his gaze back at Sinder. Still sinder gave him no notice. How was he going to defeat this thing. In terms of sheer power he didn't even stand a remote chance.

* * * * *

Sinder continued to stare at the boy. His mind had turned to the other fighter still in the courtyard. Amazing. He still didn't seem scared. He had to respect that. Very few had ever chalenged him when they knew what they were up against. This was a sign of true bravery that Sinder had not seen since his youngest years in Avalon, when fools ran rampant.

He turned ans faced the gold haired fighter completly. He smiled to himself as the other warrior stared back with nothing but contempt. His smile quickly turned to a laugh. The fighters face grimised through the vocal onslaught. "You think you have a chance? You think that by some miricle you can defeat me?"

Sinder dissapeared, Reapearing just behind the fighter before the fighter knew he was gone. He poked his index finger into the back of the gold haired warrior causing his chest to heave out in responde to the sudden pressure. The warrior screamed out as he went hurling several feet to his knees.

Sinder snickerd as he paced over to the fallen warrior. He was actually surprised that it was able to stay in one piece. He hit him with the equivalent of 1 million Chi energy. Whoever this was, he was definitly resilient.

* * * * *

Goku winced in pain as he tried to stand. He hadn't even seen it coming. He felt his ribs crack as he turned and faced the nightmarish creature. He really didn't have any ideas. This creatrue could move faster than he'd ever dreamed. The power it was emitting was unparalleled in strength. Goku suddenly saw a flash as the creature dissapeared once more.

No time, No thought, No chance. Goku suddenly leashed out with his own power calling upon a Kao-Ken beyond all magnitude. In an instant he felt his own muscles rip and tear under the abrupt vergence of power. In that instant he felt the creatures presence coming up behind him. With a move of pure instinct he twirled himself around delivering a roundhouse kick just above the creatures jaw.

The creature let out a breath of surprise as he was hurled strait to the end of the courtyard. Goku wasted no time getting to where the creature landed. He screamed in anger as he threw a punch to the creatures face. Again he was surprised by the creatures speed and strength. It caught his fist just inches from landing the blow.

The creature stood up and squeezed Goku's fist. Goku howled in pain as he felt is bones crack. As he fell to his knees he saw a trickle of blood start to run down his arm. "Arrrrrrrhhhhhhhh!" Goku screamed. He felt his own power dwindling as his hair turned back to black.

"Heh he heh. Jerk! There is no one in the multiverse who can stand up to me. And it is only in the few last seconds of your pitiful life that you will understand that." The creature tightened his grip on Goku's fist causing more bones to tear through the skin. Goku winced as his arm started to cover itself in his own blood.

* * * * *

Sinder laughed as he saw the life fade out of this sorry excuse for a warrior. He was surprised in it sudden counterattack. He wasn't ready for the sudden increase in speed and strength. It didn't matter really. He'd adapted to it quite easily. HE started to laugh as he saw a bright light in the corner of his left eye. He saw it to late. He screamed in pain as his arm was severed in half just below the elbow. The warrior fell backward.

Sinder turned around just in time to see a large green fist come strait at him. He grunted as he felt himself hurtle upward. Again he opened his eye in time to feel a sudden knee to the stomach and blow to the back. "That's right Tien. Keep him busy! Don't give him a chance to regroup."

"Right Yamcha! Piccolo catch!" Sinder felt another blow to the head sending him spiraling towards the ground. Sinder kept his eyes open this time. He was furious as he lurched his arms out to catch the foolish warrior that had dared to attack him. He recognized it as a Namek, one of the few races that were starting to understand the principles of mana.

He caught the Namek's leg and ripped it off in one smooth stroke. The green warrior screamed out in surprise as well as pain. The instant he hit the ground he was airborne again going strait at the long haired fool. Before the warrior knew what hit him he was bruised beaten and laying on the courtyard floor.

Sinder hovered in the air, blood dripping from his teeth, looking at the three eyed warrior. He looked like he was in complete shock. Apparently he'd never seen his friends taken out so effortlessly. A few seconds later he as laying beside his friend, His third eyeball could be found just a few feet away.

Sinder landed in the middle of the courtyard laughing, and surveying his work. finally something caught his eye. There was a fourth warrior standing at the end of the courtyard facing him. He was about the same height with long black hair pointing towards the sky.

Sinder smiled. These damned earthlings never give up. Sinder launched himself at the warrior, making to grab his head and pluck it from his body like a flower pedal. The warrior evaded him as like he was moving in slow motion. Sinder let out a glint of surprise as the warrior twisted around and laid a blow just under his chin with the heel of his boot.

Sinder went flying across the courtyard landing in the middle to easily for it to be coincidence. Sinder got to his knees and looked up at the new combatant. This damned fucker was blind! How in the hell did he do that!? The warrior gave him a simple smirk. "Now you face a real warrior."

End of chapter fourteen

I'd also like to thank the fans who E-mailed me with they're comments on it. I think fan input is what has mostly contributed towards the story making it this far.

However I still want to hear what you think. For as long As I know people are reading the story I will continue writing it. I'll especially need the encouragement since my plans for Volume two make it much longer than Voices of the Past. Please E-mail me with your thoughts and opinions at PaladinJMT@aol.com.
