About Macros

A macro is a set of commands which you select and save as a shortcut in fights. In addition to using keyboard shortcuts, you may also use something called a "macro". A macro is a series of commands you give characters during battle. This is especially useful when playing with multiple NPC's. You can tell one character to fight, another to heal, another one to hide, another one to steal, whatever you want.

To create a macro, you need to do the following:

• Type #=@
• Type in the number you assign to your macro.
• Explain the macro. (Ex: The player types "#=@1: Darkwolf(#D), Cat(#A)." The GM then will recognize the players Macro 1 to be "Darkwolf-defend, Cat-attack.") Select the commands you want the character to use in a certain type of battle. For tough enemies, it is best to use high energy skills. For general use, however, it is better to conserve energy as much as possible. After the commands are selected, you will move on to the rest of the party.

When you are engaged in combat, merely type #@1, or whatever number you have assigned as your macro. You should be careful, though. If your macro is to shoot a gun at something, you might run out of bullets, and the macro will cause the character to point his gun uselessly at the target instead of fighting.
