Roxann Biggs (later Dawson) was born in Los Angeles, on September 11, 1964. Roxann plays Chief Engineer B'Elanna Torres on the hit television series Star Trek Voyager. B'Elanna is a beautiful young half-Klingon, half-Human woman, who is a former student of Starfleet Academy. Torres decided to quit and later joined the renegade group known as the Maquis. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her two halfs are constantly warring. She is smart, intelligent and in a process of trying to accept her mixed heritage.Born amd raised in the City of Angels, Dawson was a theatre art major at the University of California at Berkeley. The beautiful and talented young actress soon found her first acting stint as Diana Morales in the Broadway production of "A Chorus Line." After going on to perform in several more plays, she soon found her self on NBC's Another World, as Adrienne Morrow, and Nightingales and the Round Table. Along withg roles in USA Network's movie-of-the-week, she guest starred in various televiosn series such as: Matlock, The Untouchables and Jack's Place. Roxann's feature film credits include "Darkman 3" and "Guilty By Suspicion." Dawson now lives on Los Angeles with her husband, Eric, and her daughter, Emma Rose
