My Pretender PageThe Pretender is a show on NBC about a man who escaped from a corrupt organization that steals children from their parents at a young age. Those who are stolen usually are extremely smart, or gifted. They have the ability to become any one they want and can solve complex problems. The man who escaped is named Jarod and he, like many others, was stolen and exploited for his genius. He eventually escaped,and is always learning about the things he missed, such as pizza and ice cream. The Centre, the organization which held him, sent three of their people after him: Ms.Parker, Broots, and Sydney. Broots is efficient in computers and has a daughter, Sydney was Jarod's caretaker, and Ms.Parker was a friend of Jarod when they were children. Ms. Parker was coerced into searching for him, by the Centre. If she found him they would let her leave, even though know one ever really leaves the Centre.
