Wrath of Poseidon

So vast is the uncharted sea
Where Poseidon's powers are free
To consume a venturing vessel
With a brooding swell
Waters smooth and silent
In what calm the qualm makes violent
As there rises a flaming trident
From where sunken graveyards dwell.
