It's never a good idea to squeeze a wolverine..The best wrestler in the world today, Chris Benoit. He goes out to the ring, gives it all he has, and leaves the crowd in an uproar. No matter who is opponent is, Benoit can make it show. Often out weighed by his opponents, The Crippler never backs down. He he was in the ring with a man, and did not win, you better beleive the opponent was pushed to the limit.

An excelent mat technician, his signature submission hold, the "Crippler Crossface", is something you do not want to be caught it. Not limited to the mat, Benoit can take to the air, and often does, with his diving headbut.




OWIE! Willing to put his body on the line, Benoit will try anything to defeat his opponent and entertain the crowd. Whether it's battling in the men's room, attempting a suplex from a table on the top rope, or diving off the top of the cage, nothing is too crazy for Chris Benoit.

Another win for Chris Benoit Benoit is no stranger to gold. He has held titles in Japan, won numerous Junior and Light Heavyweight tournaments, and had held titles in ECW. Less than a year ago, he had never held a WCW title, though he had wrestled for the promotion for three years. (Okay, so he won the TV title from Booker T last year, but that was not televised and WCW did not count it, so we will not either). Today he has had three Tag Team title reigns, one United States Title Reign, one TV Title reign, and a main event World Title match in the first ever WCW pay-per-view in his home country of Canada. All of this, in less than a year.




The next World Champ?The Dynamite Kid would be proud.Chris Benoit one of the best and most entertaining wrestlers in the world today. Finally, he is getting the glory he deserves as WCW is pushing him into main event status. With the talent and abilities to go far, here's hopeing that the future shines bright for Chris Benoit, and that the World Title lies in his future.
