Third Lunch and the Establishment of Cowariana

By RE Larke

There was once the Third Lunch in which the one known as Miller resided. But it was an unhappy land, filled with turmoil and strife. It had also been infected with the Slobovian Perverseness Plague of '98. Miller was distressed by the turmoil and plague, and had little notion of what to do. She held fiercely to Sanity, along with the ones known as Olechovsky and Steelman. Even if the three did not always get along, they managed.

But then from his rampage in Slobovia came the one known as Pitts. Creeping insidiously into the table, he soon infected all its members with gloom. Fighting bravely, Miller, Olechovsky, and Steelman stumbled upon the method that would make Pittsb leave. Though it seemed only a lucky coincidence, the three had driven the Pitts from the table into the uncharted realms of Guidance, where a trio of Counselors watied. There was much rejoicing.

But hard tiems again came to the Third Lunch. The one known as Steelman was struck down by many terrible illnesses, which kept her from the Lunch Land. She would recover, but rare was it that she could appear in the Third Lunch Land. Soon, after the land was deprived of her presence, Sarcasm rooted itself deeply in both the land and the bold knight Olechovsky. Miller fought it in vain, vailliantly Whacking With Her Book and suffering greatly. Finally, she saw that nothing was to be done, and sought political asylum in Slobovia. The president at that time was known as Cicola. He graciously granted asylum to Miller, and she rejoiced. She was taught the secrets of the Slobovian Salute, and made better acquainted with Chambers and the Great RedShoes.

Miller was enthusiastic about her new status as part of Slobovia. Though she could not join its citizens at their round table, she established the state of Cowariana, named in honor of the CowBag. Moving away once and for all from her native table, she became "president" of the state of Cowariana, under the nation of Slobovia and willing subject of President/RedShoes Will C. Though her state had few citizens, the Slobovian Nation was strong, and prospects for the future looked very bright indeed.
