The Love We Had Once Shared
My daughter you're an extension of my innerself,
You're always in my thoughts and in my dreams.
My daughter who tells you the truth about herself,
It hurts deeply that we are not together it seems.
I am always here whenever you are ready to need me,
You will always remain very important to me everyday.
No matter what the difficulties in this life may be,
It's more than words to tell you what I really have to say.
Our dreams are nothing to me with out you in my life,
All of our hopes could be washed away just like a tear.
The pain in my heart is stronger, and cuts like a knife.
The love we had once shared, only visions now appear.
My love for you will always be, forever unconditional,
Sometimes things happen that seem horrible, painful.
Your heart will find a way to overcome those obstacles,
And then you will find the power that hurts in my heart.
