             The Forest

This story all started when a boy named Raymond went on a camping trip with his dad in Hilo. Their cabin was bordering a large field. There were cabins all around them , except to the right, where there was a forest.

One early morning, before Raymond's dad was awake, Raymond was playing outside, when he heard his name.

"Raymond, Come!"

It was a girl, two or three years older than him. "Do I know you?" Raymond asked, trying not to offend her.

"Come, Raymond, Come!"

"Mabye i should as my da-" "NO! Come!" the strange girl insisted. "Well, alright then." It wouldn't hurt to at least see where she wanted him to go.

* * * The girl led him deep into the forest without making a sound. Raymond, however was cracking sticks and branches until he said, "Mabye I should call my dad, he'll probably be wondering

where I-"

"NO!COME!" she urged.

"I will, but first I-" "COME!!!!"

Raymond, terrified sprinted back to the cabin where he found his dad snoring.

"DAD!! DAD!! WAKEUP!!"

"Wha-? Oh leave me alone."

"Dad! Come outside! there's something weird I want to show you!"

"Oh fine, but as long as you promise to leave me alone afterwards" Raymond's dad grumbled.

* * * "Yeah dad and this is where she was, on the other side of this bush. And I was here and she was yelling and-" "Well I'm sure it all happend but its all over now and I'm feeling a little sleepy" his dad yawned.

"C'mon, dad just a little more!" "Oh fine just stop bugging me." his dad grumbled, walking foreward. He pushed the bush away from him with his walking stick, and froze--

The bush was covering a lava tube that went down a few hundred feet! "Cool!" Raymond said, and shone his flashlight down. Then he started turning green.

Raymond's dad peered down to see what was sicking his son. Eww, there were dozens of skeletons, rotting down there for ages.

The girl Raymond had told him about, the one he didn't believe about until now was trying to get Raymond to--

Suddenly, out of nowhere a dry crackling laugh filled the forest around him.
