Daughter of the Land

She left the house to the hospital of anticipation.
Through temples of hemlock to the city of gold.
There was joy in her voice when she called.
“Come and see my new roots”

She led me up two flights like cliffs to a narrow,
Heartbreak down shared with mice.
For this she fortook a view of Heaven.
Shining rivers rose petal walls,

Unbounded love with every-one in her heart.
Still she’ll climb more stairs,
Stumbled over shadows life.
Rise adjust her heart, sweep her house and soul.
And we will be there with all our love.
