Visions in a Bar Scene

As we walk into the bar scene,
Single strangers looking for conversation.
Worlds past on by recorded futures,
Free speech as you walk in the door.

We are strangers but you’ll be told,
I can’t seem to get you off my mind.
Your in my visions, your in my dreams,
You don’t know what’s going to happen,
From one recording to the next.

Unattached strangers come into the bar scene,
Wondering if they are good enough as they mix talk.
As you rap up words you’ll be asked to dance,
And you’ll except.

We are strangers but you’ll be told,
I can’t seem to get you off my mind.
Your in my visions, your in my dreams,
You don’t know what’s going to happen
From one recording to the next.

I sense your presence all around me,
You and me babe we got all night.
Candles’ burning as it draws you near.
Always looking in your eyes,
Just waiting to be alone from that day on.

We are strangers but you’ll be told,
I can’t seem to get you off my mind.
Your in my visions, your in my dreams,
You don’t know what’s going to happen
From one recording to the next.

You’re blue or brown eyes,
Hair so long or so short.
Well you know you are my friend,
Who knows it might last for life,
Or it might last for one night.

We are strangers but you’ll be told,
I can’t seem to get you off my mind.
Your in my visions, your in my dreams,
You don’t know what’s going to happen,
From one recording to the next,
As the pendulum swings as the bartender,
Say’s last call.
