Bever-Abetz
The wedding of Miss Catherine Bever of this city, and Fred M. Abetz of Wausau, took place at St. John's Catholic church on Wednesday forenoon, Rev. Fr. Eisen officiating in the presence of a large audience of relatives and friends of the parties. The bridesmaid and groomsman were Elise Abetz and Arnold Bever. The bride is the daugther of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Bever and is an estimable and popular young lady, while the groom is one of Wausau's well known young men. They have many friends here who extend best wishes.
Obituary
Mrs. Catherine Abitz
Mrs. Cathereine Abitz, wife of Fred M. Abitz, farmer of the town of Flieth, passed away at the family home this morning at 11:30 o'clock following an illness of three weeks. The funeral arrangements have not been completed.
The deceased was fifty-two years old and was married in Marshfield in 1901. For the past twenty-two years she had made her home in the town of Flieth. Surviving are the widower, five children, Martin, Christopher, Lyle and Arvilla Abitz and Mrs. Joseph Rucinski of the town of Flieth; seven brothers, Peter and John Bever of Superior; J. B. Bever of Wisconsin Rapids, Nick and Anton Bever of Marshfield, Arthur Bever of Stratford and Arnold Bever of Manitowoc; and four sisters, Mrs. George Hirsch of the town of Flieth, Mrs. Anton Hirsch of New York, Mrs. Mae Thomas of Wausau and Mrs. Stephen Brittan of Manitowoc.
