I began doing crafts with my Grandmother when I was only 6 years old. Those times when I was younger that was spent with her was where I felt safe and secure. If not for her I probally would not have the experience or the desire to do the crafts I do today. Together with other friends she gathered with, I learned how to make quilts, blankets and how to use needles to knit, and so forth. Her many talents have been passed on to a new generation, I only hope that I can do her justice by following in her footsteps. Through the years I have missed her very much since her passing on to a better place in heaven in 1987. She was a very wonderful woman who always took time to show you what to do without getting upset, even if you had to be shown again, and again like many kids do before they learn. She was a very patient and understanding Lady, I'll miss her very, very much.
This is a leather bag that I made for my son Jedidiah, It goes with his tribal dress for ceremonies.
This bag was made for Chris my other son for the tribal ceremonies also. It is from a different type of leather.
The birds that you see here, I made while in Korea. I got into ceramics there. It helped pass the time.
This was one of my first baby blankets. I make one for anyone that gets pregnant that I work with. I made this one for Dana Fields. She really loved it.
This blanket took a while, Sammy loves bears, so I had to do this one for her. You should have seen her face when she opened it. She loved it.
I will have more as I get them to post, many I never took pictures of so I have to try and relocate most of the people that I gave them too. We'll see how many of them I can find. "LOL"
I am awaiting pictures that are out being developed, Hope that you will come back later to check for updated items.
