*Fresh out of college,
Mark joined the contemporary dance company Dance Kaleidoscope in 1986.
Based in Indianapolis, Dance Kaleidoscope showcased the work of dozens
of choreographers. Among them: Ohad Naharine, Rachel Lampert, Kathryn
Posin, and Mark Dendy. Featured in several duets and solos, Mark thrived
in the stylistically eclectic repertory of the company. From the sublime
to the rediculous, and the sensual to the dazzling, Dance Kaleidoscope
presented it all, not only to it's subscription holders, but to the entire
Midwest region, and beyond. In addition to dancing works by other choreographers,
Mark contributed to the companies repertory with a few pieces of his own.
After three seasons with Dance Kaleidoscope, Mark retired from the company
to join Actors Equity Association and the international tour of The King
and I. |
