
When you come home from a bad day at work, take 10 minutes to meditate instead of kicking the dog, yelling at spouse and family members and get yourself focused. When we relax our minds and bodies, answers to our problems come much easier. This is a time to relax our minds, think about the good things that happened during the day, thank the Creator for our blessings, and ask for help for resolving problems.
I will share several meditation methods that have worked for me and share what others have used to help them. Try different ones and find the ones that work for you. Maybe several work for you. You can do a different one each day. Or maybe there is 1 that works when you are stressed and another that works when you are just tired or had a good day, or need help in resolving a problem. You can always adapt any of them to fit you and what works for you. What is important is that you take the time out to do them. After awhile you will notice the changes in yourself. I know I did. After awhile, things that use to really upset me and make me angry or stress me; no longer did. I knew I could handle them. Don't get me wrong, I still have times of anger or stress, and when I do; I take a "time-out" to meditate and try to relieve that stress or anger.
