Jenny took lessons from and worked for many famous show horse and riding instructors in the Kansas City area as she continued her career with horses.
Pine Dell Farm was established near Lee's Summit, Missouri and Jenny continued to develop her business and passion for horses as she took charge of the boarding stable and the training of the horses. Jennifer established an Arabian and American Saddlebred Horse training barn. During this time at Pine Dell, she also started training a Tennessee Walking Horse and showed in the light shod division. She and the horse won the title of Missouri Lite Shod Champion and spent a few years riding in the TWH World Celebration.
Walking a thin line between the traditional way of training and her own progressive ideas, she was constantly searching for new and innovative ways to develop horses. In 1991, she watched a Pat Parelli video tape that was so exciting to her that she immediately enrolled in his clinic to learn more. Ultimately, At the time, Jenny was training a mule and she discovered that Pat Parelli had started his career taking a mule to a world championship competing against top quarter horses. After the clinic with Pat, he was so impressed with her natural skills and horsemanship that he asked her to become one of his instructors. She became one of the very first Parelli endorsed Instructors. She withdrew from the program in late 2006. Jennifer was a Parelli three star certified instructor for fifteen years. Pat Parelli continues contact with Tony and Jenny Vaught and the family. In 2012 Pat invited the entire Vaught family to ride with him at his ranch in Pagosa Springs for a month. Pat is very impressed with horsemanship of the Vaught family. They continue their friendship and professional contact.
Well known in the horse world as a "natural trainer", Jenny has helped many people realize their dream of establishing that special partnership with their own horses.
