I got the best of both worlds. My Harley is all American made. It was made in 1967, before the AMF buy out. The Gold Wing's frame, fairing, bags and travel trunk were made in America. The engine and drive train, wheels, forks, rear shocks and electrics were made in Japan and shiped in. Starting in 1984 the engine and drive train were made in America. All Gold Wings are made in Ohio. Even if it is sold in Japan.
