I painted
"Osage Dog Days" en plein air, on a very warm summer day.
I painted on the bank of the Osage River in Bonnots Mill, Missouri.
My friend took my boys in his boat and dropped them off to fish
off the dock. They are proud to be a part of this painting. The
original is available at the Manitou Gallery in California, Missouri.
