The Story of Mr & Mrs Smith

Mr & Mrs Smith are spies played by Scott Bakula and Maria Bello. Their line of work takes them into the corporate world. As partners, they don't always agree and yet there is a substantial amount of sexual tension between them. No doubt, they are attracted to one another but the rules of The Factory say they can't know anything about each other, not even their real names. They do their job but the fun starts as they do a fair share of spying on one another, trying not to reveal too much and suppress their feelings.

I always enjoyed watching this show because the location and story were always different each week. Scott and Maria worked wonderfully together.
Their scenes with one another were always enjoyable. Many scenes between Mr & Mrs Smith were memorable. Some of them funny, others stimulating such as their first encounter in the pilot episode and their meeting on the train to Seattle. Their slow dance at the vineyards,in The Grape Escape Episode. Their conversation in bed, underneath the sheets when posing as husband and wife in The Suburban Episode. Scott's portrayal as Todd, the red wigged, lowly assistant,in The Poor Pitiful Put Upon Singer as well as Scott's song and piano solo. The nerdy Nathan, author of Gardening books in The Publishing Episode. Scott as Pierro, the Italian artist and Maria as Twinka, the English photographer in The Spaceflight Episode. Mr. Smith talking to Mrs Smith about passion in New Orleans in The Big Easy Episode and of course Maria disguised as a Spanish maid in The Impossible Mission Episode.
These are just a few examples.
The content of the show was always good and Scott Bakula and Maria Bello played their characters with the greatest aplomb.
