When this picture was taken you didn't know whether to bring a M-16, a pair of good chest wadders, or to run and hide. This is Charlie Company 2/16 survivor Charlie Epperson ( 1st platoon), with his PJ beret which was presented to him by H.J. O'Beirne at the Medal of Honor Pararescuers Dinner. He wore it proudly all night. Also is another picture of him taken by Alvin Brown, one can tell by his expression that he loves to have his picture taken.
